Yeah, Yeahhhhhhh!!!!
80's music rules!!!!!
If you do, I have an 80's music trivia for you...217 questions....One line of a lyric, name the artist and song is how it works....
For example: "Sucking on a chili-dog, outside the Tastee-Freeze..."
I even have an SAT book that is all about 80's (Music, Tv, movie, pop culture, world events, etc...) It's called the PCAT Pop-Culture Aptitude Test: 80's Edition...
2400 Point test...I got a B on it for final grade...lol

YOU MIGHT BE A CHILD OF THE ‘80’s IF:
You know by heart the lyrics to any “Weird” Al Yankovic songs...
The phrase “GOING COURTING” to you means fighting an unjust traffic ticket or going to play tennis
You have, deep, personal relationships via computers with people you have never met in real life...
The Brady Bunch movie brought back some cool memories...
You remember the first time “Space - Above and Beyond” aired...it was called “Battlestar Galactica...” and then “Galactica 1980”
Songs by Debbie Gibson still haunt you... I can’t get “Only in My Dreams” outta my head...ARRGGHHH!
3 words: Atari, Intellivision, and Coleco...sound familiar... (Bonus if you remember Adam...Coleco’s home computer...)
You remember the days that hooking your computer into your television wasn’t an expansive option that required gadgets...it was the only way to use your computer!!!
You remember the days when “Safe Sex” meant “My parents are going away for the weekend....”
You watched “Friday Night Videos” religiously before MTV was included on every cable system in the country......
You ever owned a pair of “Pop-Wheels” - that handy little combination of shoe and roller skate that lasted a year on the open market
A predominant color of your childhood photos is “Plaid”
You’re upset that you couldn’t participate in the ‘60’s, upset that you were part of the ‘70’s, wasted too much time doing stupid, meaningless things in the ‘80’s, and still have no clue as to what the ‘90’s are about...
You see teenagers today wearing clothes that look like they’re from your childhood photos and they still look bad
While in high school, you and all your friends discussed elaborate plans to get together again at the end of the century and play “1999” by Prince over and over again
You were shocked and horrified at the Challenger explosion (which you were probably in school watching) and yet, when someone mentions JFK, you immediately think of Oliver Stone
You tried to sit down and figure out the lyrics to “It’s the End of the World As We Know It”
You took family trips BEFORE the invention of the mini-van. You rode in the back of the station wagon and faced the cars behind you...
You know all the words to “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel....but it doesn’t mean anything to you until around the 3rd verse
You’ve ever used the Dan Aykroid SNL phrase...”Jane, you ignorant slut...”
You watched HR Puffenstuff as a kid, but now that you’re older, you wish that you were watching it on drugs back then..
You’ve horrified yourself by using these phrases recently... a) When I was Younger...” b) When I was your age...” c) You know, back when...” d) Because I said SO, that’s why...” e) What the HELL is this crap on the radio?” f) Just can’t (fill in blank) like I used to...”
SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK was a HUGE part of how you actually learned the English language and the Preamble to the Constitution... “We the People...”...ring a bell....?
Kids working in stores and restuarantes tick you off by calling you “Sir” or “Ma’am”
You ever dressed to emulate a person you saw in either a Duran Duran, Madonna, or Cyndi Lauper video...
At one time you wished you had one of those red Michael Jackson zipper jackets like he wore in the Billie Jean video....
“Celebration” by Kool and the Gang to this day brings back a childhood memory...
In the early days of record collecting, K-TEL was a huge part of your musical vocabulary
The first time you kissed someone at a school dance was either to a Madonna or a Chicago song...
There was a tleast someone at your school who voluntarily went by the name of “Skippy/Skip”, “Dexter”, “Muffy”, or “Buffy”
You used to think that all the gold chains on Mr. T looked cool and the idea that Mr. T was making millions seemed rational at the time...
You remember when the Green Machine made your Big Wheel obsolete
“Where’s the Beef” still makes you laugh...Bonus if when you hear the name Clara it reminds you of the old lady who used to yell that phrase...”
You spend hours playing Mortal Kombat and then for old time’s sake, hook up the PONG game and play that for a while...
Honestly remember when film critics said that no movie will ever have special effects as good as those in the movie TRON...Bonus if you remember both TRON arcade games (The one with the lightcycles, tanks, MCP cone and TRON DEADLY DISCS...)
You’ve spent money playing the Journey arcade game....
You’ve had nightmares about Maximillian (the red robot) from the Black Hole movie...
For years, you thought Batman was an overweight man with a moderate beer belly who ran around in underwear...
You’ve owned a pair of Underoos....and weren’t bashful to parade around in them
You have begun to lust after someone and realize that their younger age would make the relationship a criminal offense
This timeline describes you: STAR WARS opens, you are in single digits agewise, you think the creatures are way COOL...EMPIRE STRIKES BACK opens, you are now in double digits, agewise, and you’re convinced that the special effects are way better, the characters are cool, and you want every collectible out ther, especially of Yoda...RETURN OF THE JEDI opens, you are now becomming a teenager, and you cannot help but stare at either Leia’s breasts or Han Solo’s butt. You have Star Wars posters everywhere
You once shopped at a Banana Republic or Benetton...but not in the last 5 years...
You start to think that having kids go to school year-round is not such a bad idea...
You’re doing absolutely nothing with your major degree....
You stop going to your favorite bar becuase now there are too many kids there
You’re starting to get that “Why aren’t you married” sctick: Not just from your parents but from your married friends
You’ve horrified yourself by groaning when getting out of bed, and you weren’t drinking the night before....
You loved MTV but now hardly watch it
You ever wanted to be gagged with a spoon
You ever used the phrase “Kiss My Grits” in conversation
When someone mentions 2 consecutive days of the week, Happy Days theme springs to mind and you can’t get rid of it...
You try to guess the episodes of Brady Bunch from the very first scene...
You’ve used the phrase from the Incredible Hulk show...”Don’t make me angry...you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry...” when trying to scare someone off
You dreamed of being either the Six Million Dollar Man or the Bionic Woman
You Remember, “Hey, let’s be careful out there!” and then can’t get rid of that Hill Street Blues instrumental...
YOU KNOW WHO SHOT J.R.
This rings a bell...”My name is Charlie...they work for me...” Bonus if you flash on the theme song and picture 3 womens slhouettes holding guns and explosions going off in the background...
You bought a book explaining how to solve Rubic’s Cube but didn’t know you could’ve saved money by taking it apart and putting it back together
Speak ‘n Spell was a part of your daily childhood life...
You used to love getting those Presto Magix wax rub-on toys, but always got mad because you were done within minutes
You still played with your Colorform toys even after they stopped clinging to the playset board...
You ever thought that the Snoopy Sno-cone machine would be cool to have to become popular at school...

If you got that off childhood.com, it had GAH as being in the 70's, not the 80's. I've sent the webmaster a note, correcting the error of his ways.

WOW...scary...
What's sad is that kids born in the 21st century probably won't understand what the World Trade Center was...

I looked and I think it is great that you have MacGyver on there, but you should really have a place for the A-Team.
