digitaldawg, that was.......sweet! I loved that. I also liked the old school 1981ish styled clothes the chicks wore too, (or is that actually back in style now?)
I remember hearing about an updated garage rock version of "Believe it or Not" popping up on Gilmore Girls or 7th Heaven, I can't remember. I would LOVE to see/hear that if anyone has a link.

extra well deserved cash for Scarbury, the tune was revived by the release of the DVDs and someone got the idea to use it for a commercial, interesting remake. It kept buffering for freakin ages, though. The guy singing reminds me of the SchoolOfRock teacher. I really hope a rock version will come out soon, I wander how it will sound like.

I just watched that video, and it was very funny and creative. What's strange is that fashions are now moving from retro '70s to '80s, at least in the youth styles. I've seen stores sell the shorts the girls are wearing in the last part of the video.
Although I've only heard part of it, the rock 'n' roll version of the theme is also good. I think it was used in a "Gilmore Girls" episode, as the only GAH connection I know of with "7th Heaven" is when William Katt guest starred in a story. The song was released on CD titled "Bad Move, Space Cadet."

^Ouch!! You're probably right. Let's say those young women are about 20, do the math and that comes to a birth year of.........1985. And the kid in the black t-shirt looks 14. -scenario-

That would have been from the fourth episode of last season's "Gilmore Girls," called "Tippecanoe and Taylor Too." I have the episode, but I can't for the life of me edit it down to the part where the song is played.
