OMG OMG OMG (yes, I'm doing my little happy dance!)
I just learned Anne McCaffrey has given her "okay" to fan fiction, art and sites based on her worlds, most importantly (to me at least) PERN! Huzzah!
If you know the Pern stories, and my fanfic, you might want to stay tuned, cuz OH, the possibilities that have just opened up!!
If you read my little Mary Sue story, "What a Buncha Characters," you may recall my mentioning an older gentleman who had to remain nameless.... well, now I can tell you who he is: Robinton, my very favorite character of all time (yes, even over Bill Maxwell-- but it's close!)
If you don't read the Pern books, you obviously wouldn't know how utterly cool Robinton is; your loss!

(I'm going to get the five works-in-progress I have finished first, then it'll probably be Pern for a while-- depending on what my Muse tells me. Still got more GAH to write, such as concluding the Lilacs series.)
