Now that the Torino Olympics are going on, I was wondering what events people think Ralph, Pam, Bill etc. would participate in if given the chance. (Now, Ralph could participate in an event with the jammies, but that wouldn't quite be in the spirit of the Olympics. ) There are too many events to make a poll, so I made a list of the events. They are: Biathlon, Combined Downhill, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Aerials, Freestyle Moguls, Giant Slalom, Nordic Combined, Slalom, Snowboarding, Ski Jumping, Super-G, Bobsleigh, Luge, Skeleton, Curling, Figure Skating, Ice Dancing, Ice Hockey, Speed Skating, Short Track Right now, these are the events I could see them in the following events: Ralph - Snowboarding (just could see him do it), freestyle aerials (same reason). I'm not including skiing as we've seen him do that - in the suit. Pam - Figure skating/ice dancing (she has the elegance and grace to pull it off), cross country (she has the endurace for the race). Pam and Ralph - Pairs or ice dancing Bill - Biathlon (because he can shoot well and the skiing's not as fast), curling (well, I could see him argue with the refs about getting it close to the tee, etc. ) Tony and the class - 4-man bobsled. (I could see Tony take care of the sled and all four work together to make the sled work.) So, what do you guys think the characters would participate in as far as an Olympic sport?

I see everyone doing the luge. Especially Pam in the tight slick suit.

I see everyone doing the luge. Especially Pam in the tight slick suit. I could see them all do the luge/skeleton too, but I was trying to think of just a variety of events. Curling is one that is funny to watch, and apparently we have a couple of good teams this year. Almost medaled last Olympics in the sport. BTW, OT of course, the medals this year are rather interesting. Back in '92, our rec teams at camp were countries to celebrate the Olympics in Barcelona (I was on the Japan team). At the end of the week, the top three teams received "medals" — washers on red, white and blue ribbons signifying their places (a gold, silver or bronze washer). Thought it was a bit silly, but who knew 14 years later, that'd be the design of the medals. But, these are a whole lot cooler.

I think it would be fun to see Tony and Bill figure skate and fall on their rumps. Rhonda might be a good figure skater.
