9/11 was a tragic day, and it changed a lot of things. I feel sorry for the people who died and were effected by it. I have one question though. I've had my fill of 9/11 with how things are currently going. I'll leave my political opinions to myself, but would it be unethical to want to skip all the 9/11 anniversary coverage and instead want to pop a DVD in and watch "Now You See It" from GAH? Just curious.

I've been thinking about those who died that day, but I'm also not watching a blow by blow coverage either. However, I do think it's necessary to remember what happened because like it or not, it happened.
(I could get political too, but it's not fair to those we're remembering. What I do think, however, it that both sides need to get their heads out of the sand, stop pointing fingers at each other and work together before this happens. Well, that and fine the NY Times if they ever leak info to the public again at the least. (That's the journalist in me.)

No, it wouldn't be unethical, cuz all they'll be telling are lies. You could always jump into the GAH 25.5 anniversary chat, from 4-7pm Pacific time tonight! That's what I'll be doing.

I don't think it would hurt to skip the entire day's events...maybe a simple memorial piece on the news or something just to show that we do care and do remember, but I think this is a way that the media and the politicians use to cover their tracks behind things that would not happen otherwise....right, Saddam? I might try and catch the chat. Of course, if it won't work for MyTatuo...how will it work for me?

Why wouldn't it work for MyTatuo? He was in there last night, along with Mel, Jo, me and claye. At least they're the ones I saw when I hung about for a while.
Back on topic in this OT area, about 9/11... I remember well enough, having watched the towers collapse live while it happened. Those images are forever burned into my memory, no need to re-hash them (kinda like the Challenger exploding after launching). What happened that day, on 9/11/2001, saddens me in too many ways for me to express here. And I don't wanna get all political either. I burned out on 9/11 for months after-the-fact (fact? Lies, more like).

Well, I have some opinions too. But I won't share.
Me and Bill. Not into sharing.
It's not a problem forgoing the memorial. We all deal with it (or not) in our own ways.
Not sure if I can make the chat tonight. Argh!
EVIL Work! D*mn you!!!!
