What songs would you nominate to be on the "Ultimate GAH Soundtrack" I'll start witha no-brainer, "Eve of Destruction".

Well, I'll just include a few, because I practially have a lobe of my brain dedicated to this lately... Dreams Sometimes Opposites Everything You Dream (all, might I add, written exclusively for the show by Mr. Stephen Geyer, quite the cool cat...)

- Dreams: by Van Halen. If there was ever a moment when Ralph truly mastered the suit's flying power and land like a champ...this would be the song. As a fan of Smallville, I'd love for this song to be the one heard as Clark flies for the first time.
- Power: by Rainbow
- A Kind of Magic: by Queen, specifically the version heard in the closing credits of the film Highlander. Another flight song.
- Show Me the Way: by Styx, another "discouragement" song.
- Dare; The Touch; Never Surrender; Hold Your Head Up High; Highest Calling: Each of these songs are by Stan Bush. If a bell is rung with you, Bush is best known for the songs Dare and The Touch which were featured in the film Transformers: The Movie
My all-time favorite group is Kiss. In 1981, they released Music From the Elder. It is a concept album that tells the story of a boy chosen by a higher order to be their champion against evil. Some of the songs from the CD might fit TGAH. - A World Without Heroes: In this song, the order is explaining to the boy what evil will engulf the world if he doesn't become their champion. The Green Guys did mention this with our heroes.
- The Oath: The boy agrees to become the champion and calls on the great power offered to him. "Like the blade of a sword...I am forged in flames!"
- I: The champion defeats the evil by believing in something more than the bad guy can understand...HIMSELF!
And my all-time favorite superhero concept is "The Chosen One", that is, someone born with something special that makes them worthy of great power. My all-time favorite hero, GREEN LANTERN, He-Man, Shazam, and TGAH all fit into this category.

The ultimate GAH soundtrack for me would be all the songs from the shows to be released on CD. Since I have Joey's 'America's Greatest Hero' now, I want more! So why not release all the other Scarbury songs from GAH? (I have the soundtrack from Quantum Leap) Gimme The Greatest American Hero!!! My iPod would love it!
