;D ;D ;D Cool. I'm glad they won. Wanted them to win given the crazy and scrapping (i.e. fight to the very end) season they had this year. ;D And, I hope that the Red Sox fans are classier than the Yankees' fans when the BoSox visit the Astros here. I like the Red Sox as a team, so I don't want them to be given an unfair light by the general fans for being as rude and smug as the Yankees were last weekend. Seriously, it takes a lot to beat the Cubs in rivalry, and the Yankees did that.

I have the set, HD. It is DEFINITELY worth it! Cool. I have been toying with it for ages, but never bought it. Then, I saw they were releasing the seasons individually along the upcoming movie, but they had toned down the special features. This will probably jump up on my list of purchases now. Thanks, Lauren.

Thanks, Lauren. They're doing a "Perfect Strangers" movie? Didn't know they were going to do that. It's one of the many shows that I miss them showing on a regular basis. TV sitcoms in the late '80s and early '90s were quite funny and varied. Plus, few ever needed to use anything crass to get a laugh on a regular basis - and even there the show had lessons such as the meaning of family, friendship, loss, etc. in there.

You missed it by a lot more than that. OK, I shouldn't have thrown the telephone receiver at the bad guy. How was I supposed to know that the telephone was stuck to the table?

LoL! (I wish they were doing a "Perfect Strangers" movie...!) That'd be an interesting one... and everyone could do the dance of joy. *Pause* Well, unless you're single - because if you did the dance of joy solo, you'd fall on your butt when it came time to jump into someone's arms like Larry would jump into Balke's.

I want you to say more....mainly because I don't keep up with baseball overall or that particular team.

I want you to say more....mainly because I don't keep up with baseball overall or that particular team. Manny Ramirez (the fellow in the pic) was traded from the Red Sox to another team. He's not well-liked by a lot of fans, and I can understand Lauren's sentiments. Overall, when they Red Sox played the Astros, they were polite - except for Ramirez. He's also shoved a PR guy for the Sox who gets comp tickets because he couldn't get Manny's tickets to that game. (Then again - given they make millions, surely they can afford even the most expensive tickets for their friends/family/publicity)? (Oh, Lauren, kudos to your favorite team. Like the Celtics, they overall were very polite and good sports to the Astros. Much more so than the Yankees. I hope that they and the Rays end up in the playoffs. ).

OK, next time you want information on a sport I follow (and I do follow the BoSox too for a few reasons), I'll stay mum. Sorry Lauren for impersonating you apparently to show support for one team I'd like to see make the playoffs since the Astros won't be going this year.
