I caught this, surprisingly enough, while I was drying my hair tonight. . .
I was watching "The Newlywed Game", and had closed captioning on. In the scene where Bill, Ralph, and Pam have just arrived back at Ralph's house from the "mission", Pam goes to ask Ralph, " Who is Boom Boom?" When she approaches him (I think she grabs his elbow), though, she says,"Will? Who is Boom Boom?"
HA! She called him Will. NOT RALPH! But he continues on and calls her Pam. Either he didn't catch it or he ignored it. I found it pretty funny.

I just watched that scene the other day, and you're right, it's captioned that way. They should have corrected that in the captions, as using "Will" would only confuse the reader. I think she was trying to say, "Well Ralph, who is Boom Boom?" The funny thing is that it sounds as though Pam says "Walph," a combination of the two. If it was misspoken, both of them played it off well.

I would have to agree that it was probably a screw-up of "Well, Ralph" and not "Will," since Mr. Katt shortens his name to Bill (or Billy), and not Will. Unless Connie was about to get very formal with William.
