In Cannell's interview on the first DVD set, he said that the first season of TGAH was character comedy. Due to changes at the network, TGAH took up superhero fare. Which do you like more? That's hard for me to say. I enjoyed a lot of the season 2 & 3 stuff, but all-time favorite is My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys. But no matter the style, the chemistry amongst Connie, Katt & Culp is always good.

I have to admit, I like in the second and third seasons (what little I've seen of S3), Ralph's a bit more confident in his abilities, and he and Bill are working more as a team ("Divorce..." notwithstanding, since they both realized they really are friends). The funny lines and expressions are good too, though. sitcomsonline.com defines GAH as a "dramedy", a good mix of drama and comedy, and I agree. So I voted for the superhero routine, but I love the funny stuff too (eg, "Freeze your face!" not only from Bill, but Pam too a few moments later, and Bill does indeed laugh -- someone posted that Bill almost laughs, but he really does, just before she turns both barrels on him, lol.)
