**Jo lights a lighter**
**She Flicks Her Bic***
**The All Night Vigil GAHthers Round the Big Oak Tree in the town Square**
**Angelic voices of little children start to sing a chorus of "Believe it or not"**
**Guys and gals dressed in their jammies hold hands in silent protest**
What will YOU do in the GAH Vigil?
*Would that make me a Chick with Bics?

This a good idea, Josie. This can help people overcome some of their confusion or disassociation problems from the old site. They have to learn to look beyond the past and see what is in their future. To help in this vigil, you should light a candle and see if you can find some solace in the suffering of others. Light a candle. This link should take you to the GAH candle site where you can reflect on the old forum and your place in the new one. These candles will stay lit for 48 hours. Peace be with you.

I think it's been a fun April Fool's Day.
First off, this board. (Please, tell me it's for April Fool's Day, o Powers That Be!)
Brother: New York City's passing a law that will allow people to only use one of four ringtones on their cellphones. Me: WHAT?? Brother: Helen... what day is it? Me: Oh.
Leaving the airport on the city bus, the driver said, "Next stop, downtown Portland." then he paused and said, "April Fool's!" (I guess he didn't want to totally freak out the tourists.)
Coming back from Bremerton (west of Seattle, across Puget Sound), the ferry announcer said, "Now arriving Seattle"... when we were still mid-sound, nowhere near docking. At first I said aloud, "We're nowhere near Seattle!" then remembered the day, lol.
I didn't prank anyone myself. I was in my usual Yahoo chat, and said how AK, WA, OR and CA had a tsunami advisory, that they were broadcasting the emergency tone on the weather channel, and someone said, "Are you joking, kos?" I didn't realize for a bit that they meant an April Fool's joke. But no, I wasn't joking. Fortunately the energy of the tsunami that was sighted was mainly aimed south of the Solomon Islands. (One chatter asked about Kansas, lol!)

I don't do well with April Fool's jokes (though that's obvious). During the course of my life, I've had several done to me that were hurtful (and I mean truly as such) that I just have trouble with it. This is one time I won't go into detail about it, but let's just say that some of them were not jokes but turned into them so the pranksters wouldn't get into trouble, and I'd get a double whammy.
And... at least I have had time to work on my current story. I've got a couple of new ideas now, but I'm still going to write the first trio story I have in my head first.

Sometimes I think you are crazier than Murdock. How did you get to be staff here with that attitude?

It worked. We lit candles for all of those GAH people and now they are getting their forum back. Thanks to HM, MyTatuo, Josie and myself for contributing and trying to help those in need. Maybe we should do this for those other things we talked about, Josie. It must work.

BW sings, "Power to the people! Power to the people right on!"
then there's Patti's "People have the power! The power to dream, to rule, to wrestle the earth from (April) fools!"

Thanks to everyone who got the joke.
Also please note that this was not done to spite those who hate The A-Team; even Helen got a laugh out of it. The A-Team makeover/HD-as-mod has been in my brain for this April Fools for a while now, but I almost didn't do it due to the deletion of Culpalicious and time constraints. The fact that HD did in fact want a separate A-Team section, his willingness to create that extremely detailed episode guide, and an actual smattering of previous A-Team posts made it the ideal candidate. I apologize to those who were offended, yet again.

I apologize to those who were offended, yet again. I think the joke went off quite well, MyTatuo. I got tons of PMs asking me about it and I, naturally, told them that it was staying up. Most people got into the groove of the joke and played around, which was great. Granted, I don't think anyone had as much fun as Josie and I, but it was fun all around. As for those people who did not care for nor understand the joke, I will reference your own show against you: Who cares what you think anyway? Thanks for letting us archive all of this information, MyTatuo...not only so we can remember the joke, but because of all the postings and work people did for it, even knowing it was a joke.
