i used to watch it in ireland in the early eighties, it was great tv. I'm in England now, it was never shown here, i'm thinking of buying it on dvd, i look forward to the film if it happens, but i like the original cast and stories. God bless America and her heroes everywhere.

Hello, from Australia! ;D I'm keen to become a proper member of this forum, but it doesn't seem to want to send me the activation code. I've attempted to resend it several times now, & I've even retyped my email address, but it still won't work! It says at the top of the screen that it's been sent, but it never arrives at my addy. Can any of the mods help me, please? Many thanks. Feel the love. dolfyn.

Welcome!
My "powers" are limited here. Worse than loosing the instruction book... I never even got a book...
Melmac is the lady to speak to. But I am sure she's already on top of things....
Again, Welcome!

Sorry to hear that you can't join. One of the reasons that might be is because the servers were all on back-up yesterday due to a massive fire. They might not be up and rerunning yet so the activation code might take another day or two. Keep coming around and trying it though in the meantime or post as a guest.

Again, Welcome! Unfortunately, I'm not the person whom you need to speak to, as I don't have that "power" either. Only Senior Staff can, and I'm a junior mod. That said, I do agree with HD and it might just be server issues. HOpefully you'll get a code soon and can be activated. Thanks for your patience in this and look forward to reading more from you.

Aw, thanks, guys. I look forward to posting as a proper member very soon. I'm also waiting for my acceptance to the William Katt forum. I've always loved TGAH, & William Katt was my first fan-girl crush when I was a kid; getting TGAH on DVD in the past month & watching all 3 series in the past week has rekindled all that! hehee. ;D I've already started converting my Generation-Y friend (born after TGAH finished) to the joys of this wonderful show. Feel the love. dolfyn.

Glad to have you...even if you are a Katt fan and not a Pam fan. I read on the Support Forum that it might be another day or two until all servers are back to normal and activation codes and everything are working again. Keep randomly trying it though.

^ Oh, don't get me wrong; I'm a big fan of Connie Sellecca & Robert Culp, too! They're both wonderful actors & made their characters great in TGAH. I remain a big fan of the show because of the writing & the 3 main leads. It's just that Mr Katt was/is the pretty one, to my fan-girl eyes. As well as being a fantastic actor. I've had Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend on VHS for many years (taped off the TV), & I've just started seeking out WB's other works. I've just ordered Pippin & House. I also just discovered his self-penned album online yesterday. heee! Feel the love. dolfyn. ;D

Feel the love. dolfyn. You're now an official member of the Katt forum. Thanks for the note - I just took over admin responsibilities for Lauren, so I'm still a bit rusty. I'm like you as far as the actor - Ralph is the first character I remember watching on TV, and he made an impact because I remembered him from when the show first aired (I was 2 then), to when the DVDs came out without watching an ep in between. There's another reason, but it was his generosity - which I go on about in other threads. Short version - Couldn't go to the Boston convention, so I mailed a fan letter to a friend to give to Katt. She delivers it to him, he asks if there's a return addy, and she gives him it. Still didn't expect anything (nor did I ask for an autograph - didn't feel it right, and wrote the letter to thank him for sharing his talents). I come home from vacation on New Years Day, get the mail and find a letter addressed to me with "Katt" in the return address - in his writing (he addressed the envelope, which too is a rarity now). Inside were the pics I had sent of my juggling to the "GAH" theme - but one was autographed. He didn't have to do that, but he did and it's something that I still look back on and smile. (Marci, however still got the best deal - she got to meet the man in person. )

Proboards have had some problems since Saturday, due to a fire. Anyone who hasn't been able to become a member even after I've approved you, please try again.

I've long suspected that he would be. I hope I get to meet him one day. I've been lucky enough to meet a few celebs who I greatly admire, who also turned out to be really lovely in person. It made me an even bigger fan. Unfortunately, I still can't seem to access the Katt forum. It's telling me my account's been disabled by a staff member. Anyway, see you on the main board. Feel the love. dolfyn.

It could be the fire issue, so if it's still down, please give me a PM here and we can try something else. And, Katt is one of the few actors I'd like to meet, but so far he hasn't visited at a convention in Texas (been there for movies though). But, just little things like what he did is one reason I'd like to meet him. There are a few actors left who make sure to take time to meet people who are their fans, so that says something about him as well.

I'll try the Katt forum again tomorrow (it's close to midnight here). Yeah, the actors who take time for their fans usually remember that it's the fans who helped them become successful. It keeps them grounded, & that makes them more cool. Feel the love. dolfyn.
