I don't know...Spiderman was pretty average and predated GAH. In YOUR humble opinion, you mean. I mean, Peter Parker is a genius.

Most people know that I mean in my opinion because I do not go around stating things as truth or not. Once you are here long enough and people are used to your style, you might not have to say it each time either. If Peter Parker was such a genius, he would not have gotten bit by a radioactive spider.

I don't know...Spiderman was pretty average and predated GAH. I'm kinda lost... did I mention Spiderman somewhere? That said, you're right, the live action version of Spiderman back in the short lived TV series in the '70s was average. The current movies they've made were a much better interpretation.

Directly, no. Indirectly, yes. 'GAH' is an american instituition... I will admit that it really did help spinoff shows such as "Heroes" because it showed how you could have an average person with an average life end up doing something extraordinary. Every other show prior to that pretty much the person already had the powers or was destined to do so (i.e. Shazam or Isis), or even then were wealthy enough to become costumed heroes in their own way (Batman). I gave Spiderman as the example of a show that set the trend for series like GAH and HEROES.

Ah, OK... then we also need to include "Captain America" as even though it was a couple of TV movies, it was shown a few times.

I am not as familiar with him. Was he an average guy who got help like Spiderman and Ralph or something else?

I am not as familiar with him. Was he an average guy who got help like Spiderman and Ralph or something else? I think he was a military man who was given an experimental drug that gave him some special powers. Basically a human given help in some way indirectly, a la The Hulk.

No. The serum developed himself within the LIMITS of the human body. He has extreme physical abilities, but "human-like".

Peter Parker was bitten by the radioactive spider when he was just 16 years old. It was an ACCIDENT. Said that, he created the web-shooters and the synthetic spider-web. He is a genius. This is an undeniable FACT in the MARVEL UNIVERSE! (I read the comics).

It is not an undeniable fact. I am denying it. Peter got that information after being bit by the spider. Since his body could not replicate it, it gave him the parameters to make it. For all we know it could be extremely easy to make...just make silly string stronger.

Well, I got to finally see Katt's appearance on Heroes this week. I was quite disappointed that he only got to do 2 scenes before his untimely exit! It would've been fun to have a former "hero" on the show, being a normal person who creates problems for one or more of the main characters. *sigh* Oh well. Feel the love. dolfyn.

I watched it last night. I think Katt did a good job, one of the best acting roles that I have seen him in. I am sure the Katt fans are sad that he died, but I have to say that it fit the role. His bit part pushed the story along and there was no longer a need for him. Good job all around.

Eh, I knew the reporter was going to be killed off when I found out he was chasing Ali Larter's character (remembering she had dual personalities. ) Was just surprised HOW that happened, as last time I saw the show she tended to be a bit more feral then having a chilling (literally) demeanor. Still would like to know how though he was chasing the gal around though if he was only seen in the garage. Looked like he camped out there all that time.

From your description of Ali Larter's character, it shows me that you have not been keeping up. He could have been calling her and such too. That is the only time we see it though. Remember he does mention that he has been working on it for some time.

Remember he does mention that he has been working on it for some time. No I haven't... had to do something called work the graveyard shift when it first came on. I think I lucked out seeing one of the first season episodes only because it was a holiday or I was on a schedule where I had Sunday and Monday off. That said, any time I see Hiro anywhere, it's always good for a laugh - at least part of the time. He and his colleague are quite entertaining to watch.

You do know that you can watch the episodes online, right? Yes, but my case, trying to get the whole episodes to work on my computer is like getting your wisdom teeth cut out of your mouth without anesthesia. But, at least when it's slower where I am now, I can catch the show more often and am not totally out of the loop.
