Interesting choice to use his appearance in "The Pelican Brief" than something more familiar to the common reader though. I didn't even know he was in said movie. And, as they're still casting, it might explain why we haven't found anything else about the movie. Only thing I can figure out based on the story is that it's an independent movie group making this. That said, it does sound a bit interesting for a movie, so we'll have to keep an eye out.

Mel,
Culp was the President of the USA in the Pelican Brief. He did GREAT! Animal lover that he is in real life, he got to play a slightly addled President who enjoys playing with his dog.

Mona Yes, I found that on IMDB when I searched what role he played shortly after reading the article. That said, it's not as well known as say "I, Spy" or "GAH," so it is surprising they used that appearance as to touting him. Do wonder too if people will get this confused with the sci-fi series "Taken" which concerned alien abduction. That's what I first wondered - had this been done before - until I read the article.
