Not so fast .... I would have to say that the DVD release was about 85% terrific, for that last 15%, they would have to add back the original music. In any TV or Film, everybody know that the score and or music is half the experience and in some cases tells the story. In my case, I can't remember what the original music was, and whether it was any good or not. By the way, how much of it was removed? Did they change entirely or only partly?

A couple of songs mattered, prometheus, but some of them were not as necessary.

Rocketman / Help me Rhonda / Eve of Destruction / and Space Oddisy Also "Don't Mess Around with Jim" (same name as the story), "Pinball Wizard" ("Wizards and Warlocks," though the replacement is quite good IMHO), "It's a Beautiful Morning" ("Operation: Spoilsport" which too the replacement affected it IMHO), "Bad Moon Rising" ("Hog Wild") and a couple of songs that Rhonda sings in "Classical Gas" and "Devil and the Deep Blue Sea." I think there's one or two more, but there were several songs changed in addition to the four mentioned.

The HOG WILD ones were good, but I don't think episode suffered any by having just the one song over and over again.

So what you folks are saying is that approximately 65% to 70% of the songs have not changed, and are the ones heard originally?

I would love to see this on Blu-Ray Special Greenguys edition. With the original music and this time they would have inside the case a replica of the communicator that Bill and Ralph used. heck, we already have the instruction book or maybe a small replica of the ship.

I'd (finally) go Blu-Ray AND pay a ton of $$$ for that set if that ever happened (which, I'm sorry, it never will, but I'm just sayin'...)
