Since I can't be bothered finding the old thread to this topic after searching the last 30 topics in this "Where Are They Now?" category, I'm starting another one. If someone wishes to move this post to the old thread, that's fine by me! This is the downside to message boards.
I watched this movie tonight. It was pretty good. The "big revelation" wasn't that big for me, not being Christian, but that's pretty common in life, assuming everyone watching the show will be flabbergasted at meeting a key New Testament Biblical figure. I'm used to that. However, the ideas broached in their dialogue were stimulating, although not enough time was spent really drawing out the gist of each aspect of the conversation. That was too bad. I would have been happy hearing a little more discussion instead of just touching upon some nicely fascinating concepts and not really deeply exploring them.
Katt started off being very angry, like in "Train of Thought". It's not his most pleasant presentation to me, but that's what the script called for, and he acted it well. That tiny goatee really has got to go. However, after he had sic'd the psychiatrist on John, he did settle down somewhat, enough to give the Very Christian Lady the focus after the Big Revelation. That was nice, to see him more rational and less emotional.
So, overall, a well done movie, would have been happy if it was a little longer, the revelation is Big only for Christians, but the acting all around was very good. Recommended.
