Both pieces turned... gold. THe diachroic for some reason turned gold with black, but the idea for part of it was actually quite cool.

OK, I finally got the idea in my head right so (on the left)... On the right is a flower pendant idea I had off the top of my head. What makes it fun is the petals are made of millefiori - little flowers ).

Hey, does anyone have any good color ideas for a Tony, Rhonda, Cyler or Paco - themed pendant? The only thing that has popped in my head ended up being a "Starhunter" - themed pendant instead. :-\
At least I do now have a Whitney-High themed one in my head, which I got from a slightly different idea and a nitpicky guy at a football game.
Been wanting to make at least one design for all the characters in the series, and while I've done the first three plus the suit, it'd be fun to do a few more.

Blue, white and black (for his usual attire of jeans, t-shirt and black leather jacket). Maybe a touch of gold (the gold chain/necklace he wore). I'd toss in some of the orange/reds from the flaming paint job on his Villacana Piranha too (I'm a car freak, can't help it. LOL)

I'm not sure if I can find anymore glass like the kind I used in Bill's pendant. But, stranger things have happened with the diachroic glass bits and pieces. I probably won't be able to make another pendant though until I get back from Christmas vacation. Still... I should be able to at least sketch it out in my head. Thanks Mary Anne.

Well, here's the Tony-inspired pendant, which is on the left: The photo on the right is the one inspired by "Starhunter," which is another show that Pare starred in. It's probably more reflective of Percy's personality than of Dante (his character) or the ship they are on, but it was still fun to make. I do have a more masculine version of the Tony idea in my head (i.e. not as much diachroic - or the more "sparkly" glass), but I can't quite make it yet because I don't have enough white to make the shape I need to make it work. (I was lucky to find enough in that shape to fit that design ) Hope you enjoy.

Oh I really like those, MelMac! They are really nice. The Tony one has the same colors as my Paré website. Actually both pendants do. Something about him evokes those colors.
The Starhunter one is really cool too. It reminds me of the ship an the planets.

These are really nice. Do they take a long time to make? I'd like to know how you do it. I always love to learn new art forms. (New to me, I mean.) I do a lot of painting in acrylics, but love to sketch in many other kinds of media.

I do a lot of painting in acrylics, but love to sketch in many other kinds of media. Thanks ThatGirl. I have a small kiln that I use in my microwave. As far as time? - usually an hour or hour an a half. It takes about 10 min. to set up a piece, 3-5 minutes to fuse it together, then about an hour to cool down. Some pieces, such as the bluebonnet and butterfly, take longer to make because the frit (glass rocks) or confetti will move around and I have to reset it to fit the design I want. Also, with the blue frit, I have to make my own as I've had trouble finding some online (it's not in the store) that is within reason. It'd be nice if they did - they'd probably add some aquamarine in there to allow the frit to have contrast. The red and green frit has opaque and transparent versions of the glass in it so it varies in color a bit. Other pieces, such as the butterfly, I have to piece together the shape because of the way I have to cut the class. That one, if I flipped it upside down, it would show it's in three parts - two wings and the body. The antenna are stringers and I had to move them pretty deep under the glass to make sure they stayed as antenna and not turn into Frankenstein.

Not much to say in the fused glass area here - I have made a couple of neat designs, and have learned to stamp designs in glass as it's cooling using leather tooling equipment (and no, it doesn't damage either group). Will take photos sometime soon with the new projects.
I also have an idea to incorporate fused glass and hardware into a sci-fi type pendant. I plan on making it in a few weeks.

Been a while since I've thought about doing any "GAH" inspired work until a few days ago when I realize this is the 30th anniversary.
So, barring complete craziness - which may happen, I plan on making a bracelet here, only this time it is in clay.
That said I have a couple of questions and needed some input:
1. Should I use purple or teal green for Pam's bezel?
2. What colors do people think of with Rhonda, Paco and Cyler? This will factor in the one panel that I am using here.
3. Should I use a badge/dog biscuits or both for Bill's? The rest are already determined, but his I'm debating on the whole shebang.
This won't be up for some time, as it'll take at least a day or so to complete, and I might just wait until the 30th anniversary to show it at all.
Thanks for any input here.

Looking back here, it's amazing to see how many of these I"ve sold in recent years. The ones I haven't are Bill's and Tony's pendants as well as the Ralph as himself one and the suit emblem of the "GAH" themed ones; then a couple of others.
I'm glad I saw the old triangle one though - it's helping me figure out how to redo it for another pendant, but the diachroic underneath it so it's all one texture.
