The Mego toy company had a line of 8 inch action figures of Ralph, Pam, & Bill planned. Protoypes were produced, but the company folded before the figures could begin mass production. A limited number of 3 3/4 inch figures of Ralph and Bill did make it to stores from my understanding. I'm hoping Classic TV Toys gets on the ball and attempts to get the license.

They had Pam figures planned as well. I saw a photo of it. I think the website is megomuseum.com. I inhabit it pretty frequently and if you click on their TV files you should eventually find Greatest American Hero. On that site I also remember seeing a picture of Ralph & Bill pocket figures that came with an "action buggy."

Checked it out...no wonder those toys never got launched. They don't look cool at all. And why would anyone but Pam come with her car?

oh, i don't know. I don't think they're any worse than what the standard for TV figures at the time was. Sure you still had exceptional figures like the giant 6 Million Dollar Man and the 12 inch Superman with Chris Reeve's likeness but I'd say those GAH figures were of the quality norm, know more no less, cut from about the same cloth as the Dukes of Hazard figures. I think the 8 inch Ralph looks alright. Heh, you're probably just P.O'ed that they didn't do Connie Selleca justice. If so, who can blame you?

You know, from what I've seen of the "action figures" out for the various Trek series, I'm not too sure we want the same for GAH, being so realistic looking... some funny poses can be struck with those little toys! LOL, and I ain't showing any examples in this mostly-family-oriented board, whoo hoo!!

Why not? It could become a challenge to be crude without using any of the normal trademarks of it.
