Hi Everyone!
Ya know, for the heck of it this weekend I went back and starting watching the show again.....only because I read everything you guys write about all the little filming mistakes. I can't remember how many I caught but there was one scene that just bugged me. In the pilot, when Bill and Ralph meet up in the bathroom at the school I noticed that if you look at the shadows on the wall you can see the mic above following Katt. Maybe I'm being too analytical now...or maybe I just had a really longgggggg holiday weekend...lol. Just some useless trivia!
Thanks!

Yes, we take this perfect show and tear it to shreds about the mistakes and then spend our free time here anyway...oh, the horror!

Speaking of analysing, I thought I'd toss in that lately I've been over-analysing in the opposite way recently, and have noticed that some of those springboard 'leaps' into the air by Katt's stuntman were quite impressive - he really 'flies up' HIGH before they need to cut away. It's something you sure didn't see in the first few episodes, but got better as the show went along.

Yeah, you could see boom shadows in the show, and I've caught the one in the pilot. But, unlike some shows, that rarely happens. There is a running gag in the original "Doctor Who" where there was one story where the booms became an extra character. It's fun to analyze a story, not only for the goofs but also to understand the concept behind an episode (ie theme.) There have been some good ones here on some shows (I think some of the best were in one on the best writing) that reflect why we like particular episodes.

Alright... I didn't want to mention it, but there's somethng else that's been bothering me from the third season.
If the characters of Tony and Rhonda left the series...why dd the "Villicana Pirhana" stick around as "Joey's" car?
That just doesn't seem right.

I agree, it was as though they were trying to pass the new kids as the old ones. Only logical thing would have been to let Cyler and Rodriguez have bought or take care of Tony's car while he and Rhonda were away. But, giving it to Joey doesn't make sense, at least to me.

I don't see why they had the kids back at all...maybe for Ralph and Pam's wedding, but the rest of the season seemed so forced.

I think they were trying to keep the notion that Ralph was a schoolteacher, but I do think the kids being included was forced. They could have gotten around the kids issue by having Ralph walk to class or whatnot. Or, if they had the kids, try to keep most of the lines to Cyler and Rodriguez and a third actor who I think was in the first season. They could have still had the other kids as extras, but creating two new characters with the same attributes as Tony and Rhonda didn't work. They were unbelievable, and didn't make sense especially when they had the Villacana Pirahana.

Wow, to see LA Freeway? Wouldn't you? Oh yeah, the Stones too, I'm sure they drew a few people.

Is it just me, or is our man Bill wearing... parachute pants? They look more like cargo pants to me having the extra pockets. Useful for storing extra stuff, but tend to get caught on tree branches, chairs, etc. But, the pic's from 1986, and I'm not too sure of the mainstream fashions were then (I wore plain shirts and neon colors alot, I think), so who knows.
