Hello to all! I am 37 and was a huge fan of this show as a child. I wish I had old pics of all the suits I made as a kid but I dont. I am looking to find a suit as close to being 100% accurate as possible to display at home. I have found a really nice embroidered chest patch on "the bay" and a set of boots as well that look okay. Can anyone help me with the rest of the suit???

well if you want close to 100% accurate I'd stay away from those ebay boots. Katt did not wear boots in the show, it was only made to look that way. I know of someone wanting to sell their very accurate suit, but be prepared to pay around $850.
The cheapest way would be finding your own material and having a local seamstress make one for you.
Good Luck!

Thanks, I had been wondering about that bit of trivia actually, lol. Hey no problem. Katt's boots were more like a boot spat, and the first season the shoes actually did resemble more of a "boot" because of the pointed toes. From the 2nd season on the shoes changed to a round toe. Some soles were smooth and others grooved. The three most difficult items to replicate when making the costume: the insignia, belt buckle, and shoes. Sometimes one can locate a decent 2nd/3rd season insignia, but I've never seen a accurate belt buckle or shoes for sale. If one is not crazy about being accurate I see a cheap resin belt buckle on ebay from time to time.

Katt's boots were more like a boot spat Yeah that's why I liked them actually; I always thought spats should make a comeback, lol. But yeah you can see quite clearly occasionally that Ralph's suit doesn't have boots. Like in Train of Thought when Bill throws all the pieces at him, lol.
