A couple of things about this episode: 1. How did Rose get a file clerk job at a place like Technitron? Clearly they don't background check their employees enough if both she and a Russian agent can infiltrate, but still...She didn't seem to have that ability to be useful or circumspect at a secret place like that. 2. I liked the Alicia angle, but I wish that had continued throughout the series. Nowadays, the custody battle would have raged throughout the series. I think it can make for some fun moments. It was a weird congruence though of how both Ralph and Alicia pawned Kevin off on other people. I know Ralph had promised in advance, but to not even think of him or call during his day with Bill. That seems unreal to me as a father. It would be neat to know how Kevin felt about Pam since she was spending time with him. She seemed to treat him like an equal a lot too. And of course, my signature line comes from this episode.

1. How many times have you had a co-worker that didn't seem to have that ability to be useful, or no skills, but they have the job anyway?
2. Had Kevin stayed with the show, I'm sure we would have seen Alicia again. I wish that angle had not been dropped, but by the 2nd season some of the "teeth" were already being pulled on the series.

The irony to that question is that most of my jobs have been solo occupations where I had no coworkers. I don't count my high school years working at a grocery store with other high school kids. 2. Agreed. I think that could have been a fun dynamic, especially as Kevin watches both parents being pulled away and Pam being the one to stay with him a lot. I think it could have added more fodder for Ralph's students to interact with him too.

It's amazing how much drama and discontent a couple of people can cause in a workplace. 2. YES! Good way to say it a "fun dynamic" the show lost a good chunk of what could have been by dropping Kevin and his mom.

You have a lot of "bosses" per se, but not really any coworkers.

1. I don't know what that field is...LOL Generally economic development. More in-depth, I have worked for Chambers of Commerce and Main Street organizations.
