I watched FIREMAN yesterday. I really enjoyed the team dynamic in this one, especially between Bill and Pam at the FBI building.
The thing that I wonder about: Did Tony still get in trouble? After all, he DID assault a police officer and resist arrest. It seems like he should have gotten in trouble for those elements of it. I know he said his portion of the Cameron Auto Business was legit, but did he testify to the rest? It seems like the end kind of glosses over Tony and what he might have gotten out of.

LOL...that's funny I just watched Fireman today.
You bring up valid points, but 80's TV seems to gloss over the points you make because they weren't needed to wrap up the episode.
I think we were lucky enough when we had dialogue in a episode that referred back to another episode. In those days so many TV series had episodes that seemed like the characters lives were a blank slate every week.

That's very true, Greenguy. TV shows were generally episodic back then (with the exception of soap operas, of course), without long story arcs that we're used to today (Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, etc., etc.)
In TGAH, Ralph had a little son, who was shown onscreen in the pilot and one or two more episodes, before disappearing entirely from the storyline altogether. I guess the mom got full custody and Ralph went over to visit between episodes? 😉

You're right, HD. But I think that's the only other time except than the first few episodes? Or am I forgetting any other instance?

No. I think FIREMAN is his last appearance. He is mentioned in Season 2 though I know. He's never seen again though.

Even in more modern shows characters fall off the map - in "King of Queens" Carrie had a sister and she lived with them as did the father. She was in like 6 episodes of the first season and then vanished. Later in the show Carrie was an only child with no brothers or sisters.
As for Kevin I always assumed the same thing - the Mom got full custody. I still would have liked to see his picture on a milk carton though............
