I asked a similar question on the A-TEAM forum yesterday, but I wanted to ask it here too.
Do you think a GAH reboot would be successful with all women? Women playing the main three roles or at least the Bill/Ralph roles?
I'm sure most hardcore fans would say no, and after hearing how many people panned the reboot of GHOSTBUSTERS, they would have some ammunition to back that up.
However, could it work similar to how a CAGNEY & LACEY dynamic worked?

No one has really responded to this, but I have a follow-up question:
Assuming an all-female cast was comprised, who would we want playing the different parts?

Well, for "Bill" - or maybe I should say "Billie" Maxwell - only one actress will do: Sigourney Weaver - yes, that Sigourney Weaver, who played the greatest badass babe of scifi ever, "Ripley" from the "Alien" franchise. She'd be perfect as a no nonsense FBI agent and would keep her super powered partner focused.
Now, for Ralph ("Ralphina"? That's the only feminized version of the name I could find) I'm going with Candice Patton. Just based on what I've seen on "The Flash" Iris West Allen as played by her is just the sort of warm, giving and courageous woman (with all the human flaws and quirks that keep her from just being "eye candy" - although she is pretty hot) that Holly Hathaway in "Heroine" should have been.

Okay, maybe I jumped the gun a bit casting Sigourney Weaver as Billie Maxwell - since I looked her up and she's like, 70 now.
Man, I feel old.
Anyway, maybe Jodie Foster would be a better fit. She's done scifi and action and she can bring a bit of snarkiness that would make her great for the role.

We wouldn't have to keep the Maxwell character older though. Maybe a younger woman character could play the role, such as Allison Hannigan
