I think the idea behind this episode is great. I think the execution lacked a lot. It was 25 minutes into the episode before we really learn what is going on and get the main characters involved in the real plot. It moved so slowly overall.
Do you think Andre the Giant liked his role in this one? Do you think the rest of the cast enjoyed having him?
Was this one of those "monster of the week" type episodes?
I think Pam and Ralph are a great team together and it just gets better when you add in Bill.

Indeed I think it falls in the category of "monster of the week".
It's a good episode, but not among my favorites. Andre the Giant, in his limited screen time, does seem to be having a good time.

It was just such a slow story. So much exposition could have been had early on with the island, but it's over half the episode. I do like Pam and Ralph having the "first time" talk though.

I do like Pam and Ralph having the "first time" talk though. That was a great scene! In the original prints, you could see a bit of a wing or something in that shot. Now it appears to have been zoomed and cropped a bit to eliminate that from framing. That episode has some good looking flying shots overall. Plus we get to see it's actually Katt who takes a long flying leap when leaving the airport.
