You're probably off work for the week, Greenguy, but what's the plan for the celebration?

Yes I am. I have the next 9 days off, this topic has a lot of views but I still think not many are interested. I don't think I will do anything involving the forum.

Oh well, I guess it seems like only 3 or 4 people would show up, so yeah, it doesn't seem worth it. I was going to ask you if you ever did find your copy of the script for "Lilacs, Mr. Maxwell." Enjoy your GAH vacation!

Enjoy your GAH vacation! I thought if we would get at least dozen or so people it would be worth it, plus maybe something to do every couple of months. I read the Proboards terms of service, etc a couple of weeks ago and decided I didn't want to take the chance of violating any of their guidelines if I mass emailed all board members. I have not found the Lilac's Mr. Maxwell script...I'm totally bonkers over what happened to it. I've gotcha covered still if It turns up or if I can find another copy. If any one out there has it, and if you need other GAH scripts to complete your collection. I will trade you 10 GAH scripts for one copy of Lilac's. Or $ if need be. Thanks on the vacation! I just finished Reseda Rose.

"I have not found the Lilacs Mr. Maxwell script."
Maybe it's with the instruction book... the real one. :-P

Starting season 3 today, anyone else watch at least one episode this week? I watched Plague a few days ago (which was better than I remembered), and Fire Man yesterday (which wasn't as good as I remembered). Oh the silliness. Hey, didja hear Comic Book Central is interviewing Faye Grant this week? I'm looking forward to it.

I love both Plague and Fire Man (not that you have to) especially Culp's line from Fire Man "Come on Bobby sweetheart, I'm doggin it just for you" Yes, I emailed Joe from CBC the other day to thank him for talking about my site, and adding a link. In his reply his said he was setting it up with Faye, and it would be coming soon.

I found the complete series of V for sale at the local library, since we are talking about Faye. Happy belated anniversary. I had to work until late last night and just went to bed. PLAGUE is much better than FIRE MAN to me.

My favorite line from Fire Man is "I've got the gun and I drank all the booze. What else could you be looking for?" The man was a genius with dialogue.

So much of the scripted dialogue is very close to what would up in the finished episodes, but Culp was a MASTER at tweaking things to really make it his own. That's not even taking into account whole chunks of dialogue he came up with, at least I suspect it was him.

"Plague" was always one of my favorites; Ralph and Bill's hypochondria is hilarious. "Don't! I just had coffee!"
I watched "The Shock Will Kill You". Though some thought it was too "out there" for the series, I never got that since the entire premise of the show was based around the existence of extraterrestrial life, but it seemed the focus of the episode was more about the guy with superpowers freaking out about going up against the monster while human Bill had far more confidence in him (while staying behind to cover the rear). I got to like the episode even more after I started reading Lovecraft, and I wonder if whoever designed the creature was also a fan of ol' H.P.
