Okay, I'm confused. When visiting my friend at the end of July/beginning of August (and watching a ton of GAH on her DVDs), I saw "I Spy" briefly on her digital cable, but she said, You've already missed it.
Now, I assumed what I saw was on TVland, since she'd just looked at that channel, and now when I check TVland on the 'net, there's nothing.
Does anyone know of I Spy being on somewhere? I'm thinking maybe it was the movie that came out fairly recently (didn't it?) Is it something that TVland is GOING to be showing, like they're going to be showing "Night Court" soon?
Any info would be grand. I was just a little'un when I Spy was out, and I've been reading a lot about Culp and Cosby on the show and some great writing and directing by Robert, and would love to see it for the first time since childhood.

Oh wow, thanks for that link! My GOODNESS, what a plethora of RC stuff coming up!! I wanted to add some information about two things coming down the pike: A Name for Evil and SPECTRE. A Name for Evil: The description they give on here is quite simple and inaccurate, really. And if you want to get the true feel for the movie, I'd suggest you do NOT watch it on AMC. To give a brief outline on what it's about, here's what I've learned from my Internet research. Culp plays Blake, an architect who outwardly is rather meek and sedate. He's tired of the rat-race, and decides he and his shrewish wife (Samantha Eggar) are going to move to the countryside and he's going to restore his great-grandfather's old house. Many reviewers I've read have commented that they don't have any idea where they got the title from, cuz it's hardly a scary or horror movie. It's more a picture of Culp's character descending into madness as he slowly but surely starts closing out his wife's petulance and verbal abuse into his own little realities. OK, here's one reason you want to see this movie in full, not on AMC: They cut out the nude scene and orgy. Yep, I'm serious. Robert Culp nude. Apparently, and I don't think I'm spoiling anything by telling you this (if you follow the movie you'll know it's not REALLY happening), he's off in one of his little delusions. And it's apparently quite revealing. This was done in 1973, rated R, and one reviewer said, Yeah, it's essentially soft-core you-know-what. But from what I understand, this is an essential scene in depicting his spiral into madness. Apparently his acting is exemplary (of course); one reviewer said it was refreshing to see a guy who normally plays such macho roles in something like this. I'm getting it (sister is buying it for me) so I'm going to opt to NOT watch it on AMC. You might want to as well. It's a Canadian film, so I don't see it on a lot of video sites. Here's a link to a VERY indepth synopsis and review; just remember, it's an R-rated film, and the review may contain some spoilers, but not too much is revealed (eg, I didn't get a couple of real spoilers till I went to another review.) www.braineater.com/house/name.htmlSPECTRE: Yes, it's supposed to be an acronym of something. Created by Gene Roddenberry. Most of his post-Trek efforts were intended to be pilots. This one sounds AWESOME and I can't wait to see it. John Hurt ("Alien", "I, Claudius") is in it too. Culp plays a criminologist who's adept in "occult" happenings. Definitely wanna see this one!

I found something similar to this site, on Yahoo, at tv.yahoo.com/advsearch/ . One of the elements you can search on is cast, up to 14 days in advance. You can also add particular episodes to your Yahoo calendar, so it'll flag you before it starts. Needless to say, I found a lot of Robert Culp! I also discovered that "I Spy" is on ALN (AmericanLife Network.) Sis just called our cable company to have it added to our line-up, wh00t!! Got some good eps coming up, including the ORIGINAL pilot (it was the first made, but it didn't air till episode 14; Robert's "So Long, Patrick Henry" was the first aired episode.)

Wow! I never knew such a thing existed! Thanks for pointing it out. You're welcome! I use that & Yahoo's search ALOT, frankly, because the only TV I watch HAS to have an actor I know in it.

Here's a little bit more of RC on TV. First of course, playing Debra's dad on Everybody Loves Raymond, then just the other day, he was on an episode of The dead zone (which I don't usually watch, but I did since he was on it)entitled "The man who never was", and recently (sort of) as the grandparent of the main charachter in a movie with ex-pro wrestler Bill Goldberg as a demonic Santa Claus(not a very good "horror" movie). All of those perfomances, you can definetely see Bill in all of them. he's still got it.
