Ha! You two (ThatGirl and HD) are too funny! Love the cheap shots back and forth. Actually, ThatGirl...in a weird way I think Pare's kinda hot too. It must be that dopish charm he exudes j/k. Anyway, thanks for the screen shots. I didn't get a chance to see the "beautiful people." Either way, looking forward to chatting with you guys on March 18th...yay!

"Dopish charm". LOL! Definitely. I'm not holding my breath for him to play an astrophysicist, but I like him.
HD isn't here so I can say it...he's just jealous! ;D

I am here...and the ONLY thing I am jealous of is that somehow that schmuck can get acting jobs and I have not yet. Must have been a REALLY dry well in the 80s.

I think the name you were looking for was John Wayne. And I will probably move...but I can't just yet.

California is the place to be...(o.k. Stolen from Green Acres.) I should be using The Beverly Hillbillies song instead.
Anyway, lots of "cement ponds", of course!

True. And in GREEN ACRES, Eva Gabor said New York City was the place to be. Losing your memory?

True. And in GREEN ACRES, Eva Gabor said New York City was the place to be. Losing your memory? Tsk tsk, HD. Not nice to berate others for their memory when yours is not up to par, either. Eddie Albert: Green Acres is the place to be.... Eva Gabor: New York is where I'd rather stay...

Eddie Albert: Green Acres is the place to be.... Eva Gabor: New York is where I'd rather stay... [singing] "I get allergic smelling hay, I just adore a penthouse view. Dahling I love you but give me Park Avenue..."Great, I've got this in my head now. On the plus side, it isn't "We're in the Money," which has been playing ad nauseum in my head lately (the tune of the spoof song).

Thanks, MyTatuo. I did know that, but I was trying not to make THATGIRL feel THAT bad for not knowing all of the song...a little bit at at time...best to ease her back into her fading memory.

As decrepit as I am..I knew that much. I meant I stole the idea of the song, but changed it to California...because...California IS the place to be. Back to my Walter Brennan imitation, "You young whippersnapper!" Of course, I don't imagine you could possibly remember Walter Brennan on The Real McCoys. I was but a baby myself when I watched "The Real McCoys" reruns. It was even before my time! Right after they invented electricity.

You weren't around BEFORE electricity? And I have seen episodes of THE REAL MCCOYS...not a big fan. Maybe it wasn't GREEN ACRES you were thinking...maybe it was PETTICOAT JUNCTION.

The only thing I remember from The Real mcCoys is Walter Brennan.
No, but I was around before cable and vcrs! Shock!

Anyone remember ON-TV and top-loading VCRs? I won't even mention beta-max...

I remember them...it was all I ever had until I went away to graduate school.
