I've been watching "Get Smart" about 5 episodes per week & I saw one this morning, "Die, Spy," which surprised me with an appearance by Mr. Culp! I clipped his three minutes on air & uploaded to YouTube. Here's the link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgS6bO8g0Dg Unfortunately, he didn't get a mention in the credits, despite having a (rather prominent) speaking role.

Too funny. I like how he does the bit gradually so there's a strong punchline at the end. I noticed too that sometimes they failed to give those who have a decent speaking role in shows credit. It happened here with Culp and it happened to Katt in "Emergency!" Odd thing was, he spoke more in that ep than he did "M*A*S*H," and he was credited there.

I always wondered how they decided who would get credited & who wouldn't. Odd. I loved Culp's punch line in that clip. The accent he put on is darn good, too.

Funny thing too was that I expected him to end up being the victim in this case, whether by accident or just flat out keeling over from one too many. I've seen the ep though, but now I know something new about it. Thanks for sharing.
