Cool. If you guys do get to go, can one of you get me a signed picture from Katt, please? ... :-\ (pauses, clears throat because she's hoarse) Pretty please? I've been to Boston, and it's a neat town (went there for my senior trip with family), but unfortunately lately just about everywhere Katt appears is somewhere I cannot afford to go to right now (and even if I did - I'd probably be busy with work) Shame too, because it's one of the few places I'd like to go back and visit again. Hope you guys have fun though.

Oh man, I am SOOOOO jealous!! And where is Miss Lauren? If Jo, Ms B and Lauren road trip to Boston to see WK, WE NEED PICTURES!! Lots and lots of pictures!!
Boston is the first big city I knew and loved. We used to go there about once a month from Portsmouth, NH, which isn't really that far away (by western standards that is, but to a little girl it was FOREVER!) Our idea of fun was going to the Museum of Science, the Peabody Museum at Harvard and the Aquarium, which at the time boasted the largest, single indoor tank in the world. Sigh, I miss that.
You nor'easters are LUCKY, I hope y'all have a blast!

They didn't exactly go the picture route when they were at Weird Al, but I agree they should try and go. I am not a huge fan of Katt overall, but it would be neat. And this time, Jo, you could introduce yourself as the woman who made him laugh so hard with the photo you got from DragonCon. Anyone else there worth seeing?

They didn't exactly go the picture route when they were at Weird Al, Well, now after losing 50 pounds, I might get more photos!
Love Boston. One of my favorite cities. Not sure if I can do it, but I will seriously think about the road trip.... *snicker*

Anyone else there worth seeing? Ray Parks (Darth maul) and Jeremy Bullock (Bobba Fett), which means I bet Mr. Noir probably already has a hotel room booked that I don't know about....
...that's ok. I have booked many hotel rooms that he doesn't know about. [/tt]

I'd also like to have gone to see Larry Storch from "F-Troop" as well. I enjoyed that series, and like GAH I think it was ended before its time.
Of course, though, they're touting the appearance of Adam West and Burt Ward making a rare appearance together. It is pretty cool though, especially since they have two of the three women who played Catwoman alongside them in the series (Lee Meriweather and Julie Newmar).

So... anyone going for sure yet? I know for sure I am not going, but hope that those who do get to go have fun. If you get a chance too, stop a Quincy Market too and eat a bowl of clam chowder. If nothing else, I will work on a jewelry project and think about how much fun you guys are having.

I don't know yet. Perhaps if one of my two cohorts might possibly be able to go, I'd probably have a better arguement to actually be able to go & go by myself. (The trials & tribulations to still living with your parents. )

Nothing like saying: "Mom. Dad. Can I have a sleepover with people from online at the GAH forum? Please? You let me go to Weird Al and meet them."

Nothing like saying: "Mom. Dad. Can I have a sleepover with people from online at the GAH forum? Please? You let me go to Weird Al and meet them." LOL. Though I am serious about Quincy Market. They had some great clam chowder there, and it's much better than store bought IMHO. I also had some lobster chowder at a place in New Hampshire, but I forgot the name of the place. It's in the town that has the sub on land and such just as you cross the border from Massachusetts to New Hampshire... Guess it's obvious it, along with Caspar, Wyo., are two places I'd really like to go back to.

More than likely this is out now. That same weekend will be the Festival of Trees at the local museum (of which I volunteered to help decorate the tree for work. *sigh* Oh well. Atleast I have Katt's autograph already.
