Title: Rough Riders Release Date: July 20 1997 on TNT Katt's Role: Edward Marshall - Wartime Journalist A really good movie especially if you are into history, as I am. About an hour into the movie I thought I saw Katt, but did not reconize him at first till I went back and yep it was him. very cool. and he is in quite a few scenes after that more than I expected. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHYg4Za_7UM Video clip of katt in Rough Riders I was able to capture. In this scene Edward Marshell (Katt) meets Stephan Crane (Adam Storke). The book Marshel is refereing to have read is Crane's Red Badge of Courage. Which he wrote never having seen a real life civil war battle

Great clip. Thanks for sharing Nicol. I have to admit it's hard to recognize Katt until he speaks. Shows how good the makeup and costuming is for this. And, I enjoyed reading "The Red Badge of Courage," and am disappointed that Crane wrote that without seeing the battlefield.

Something else I noticed too watching the scenes on YouTube, Beringer does pass off well as Teddy Roosevelt. It's just like Katt did pass off well for the real Sundance Kid. There were similarities there that were interesting as far as the eyes there. What I like though is that Katt does fit well here from what I've seen, the historical film side. It's not easy to portray characters who are/were real life people. I've seen serious takes, such as this one, and I've seen some that are so parodied that aren't funny (movie version of "The Wild, Wild West" - as the TV version did keep a lot of Grant's real persona intact.) I think he does well here and am looking forward to getting the DVD some day.
