How did the writers explain the change when Michael Paré and Faye Grant left the show, in Season 3?

To the best of my knowledge, they never did. Similar to the way Ralph's kid just 'disappeared' from the show, so did Tony and Rhonda, although Paré did show up for one last time in The Newlywed Game, something I've always thought was VERY cool of him to do.

I have a very faint to almost no memory of Ralph being a father. I really don't understand why they made him a single father, divorced perhaps, but it's hard to work a kid into the story while Ralph's saving the world.

Yeah, "Kevin" disappeared after season one actually, but was 'referred to' in season two - you just never saw him. And we only got to meet Ralph ex-wife once. Ah well...

How did the writers explain the change when Michael Paré and Faye Grant left the show, in Season 3? That's the other thing I've been cloudy on... Could ya refresh my memory and tell me which characters Michael Pare and Faye Grant are? I saw their names in the credit but don't remember who. thanks. ;D

Michael Paré played "Tony Villacana". Faye Grant played "Rhonda".

ah yes, and that's why I love the show so much. He was a real person, like the other superheros aren't. They're either millionaires or from another planet. So that's cool and made it really interesting And 'Tony' is a great looking fella, but not as much as my Greatest American hero.

I didn't remember Tony and Rhonda leaving...I am glad Tony decided to come back for one more episode after. All the more reason to look forward to the August release.
