If I wasn't at work, I'd read the six pages to see what it's about, but the cover looks great. Don't know where I read it, but I remember him mentioning he was going to be creating a comic book, so it's neat to see his dream come to fruition. Thanks for sharing.

Great Googly Moogly.
*Bwahaha* I could e-mail him.
NO! *Smacks hand* Bad stalker! BAD!
(Just kidding of course. I'm no stalker.)
(Unless you're talking about HD.)
(Did you like the flowers I sent, HD?) ;D
(Again, just kidding.)

I'm going to refrain, only so he doesn't get inundated with e-mails from fans. (Also, Ms B... did you e-mail him to ask him about "Time Heals All Wounds"? It would be interesting to read his take on the endeavor. )

I love how you all are getting heavily involved in this. He even admits to not writing the SPARKS series and you are all showering him with praise for it instead of the guy who actually DID write it. So he is taking what he learned from SJC, huh? I don't recall SJC and GAH being that dark. He wasn't a good pupil was he? And Miss D, I loved everything you sent...right down to the....well, never mind.

And Miss D, I loved everything you sent...right down to the....well, never mind. Not for writing it HD - for producing it. Now, of course I mention a comic book based on interviews I've read of his, but there's more to a book than just writing the story. It has to be approved by the publisher (which it says he is on the fourth page of the teaser pages) for printing mostly because they want to make money. But, if this helps out too: Thank you Christopher Folino and JM Ringuet for taking on the challenge for this endeavor and writing the story and drawing the art. From what I understand, as far as a template from SJC, Katt is referring to "smart, original and well-crafted show," not dark and noir. And, if I'm not mistaken, SJC does have characters with mildly dark backgrounds (Renegade).

A dark background is different than being a dark story. And so you are all excited about it because he approved it? So? It would be more exciting if he had written it and we could see his creative talents at work. I will wait and be enthused about the comic HE wrote.

HD, if it were a Connie Sellecca approved comic strip, you'd be very excited about it.

Plus... he has been fairly busy with films and such, and there's a chance - at least right now, that he's avoiding writing for the comic book because he's in a couple of movies that are similar in genre (meaning - making sure to avoid unconscious plagiarism. ) Personally, I have little doubt that he will eventually write a story, but the above reasons make sense. (Culpkatt - I do agree with you. )

So there I am excited for your comic book to come out. I am, well was, very much into comics. Spiderman, Iron Man and Spider Woman were my top faves. But as time went on and Marvel writers passed from one to the other, the stories were recycled beyond belief and the artwork became less appealing, (as well as the comic prices) I lost interest. The people in the industry, (even in the movies, with the exception of Pixar, don't have the same care and love in the stories and artwork. I was happy to find out that you were going to make this the Pixar of comics. I would love to get that excitement back that I used to when I would wait on the edge of my seat for the next issue.

If she was just approving it, I would be disappointed she was not more involved in it...such as modeling for the heroine or something.

"We broke the writing duties in half -- he worked on Sparks and I helmed Mythology Wars."

I did read it...which is why I see no need to be happy about this. WK wrote MYTHOLOGY WARS and your link talks about SPARKS. IF you read my posts, you would know that.

IF you read my posts, you would know that. *groan* Regardless, I think it's great he's still working in the industry. A lot of actors his age are either retired or not able to get acting jobs. He isn't and still gets acting jobs. IMHO, I think it's great he's trying something new. Too many people don't do that now - any age.

Mel, comic books aren't new. And why did you groan at my comment when Ms. B started the "IF you read..." mentality?

well regardless he has a hand in both in more than one way. It is a dream he is following and that's a great thing. How many people get to fulfill their dreams?

I don't know. I don't keep track of the 6.6 billion+ people in the world. And I already agreed with Josie that it was great he was getting to do it.
