...the four shows that never aired will be included on the DVD Season 3?

Well, no offense, but that would be the point of releasing the DVD set.
No one outside of the production crew has probably seen these uncut. This will be a big point in the marketing.

No one outside of the production crew has probably seen these uncut. This will be a big point in the marketing. They have been aired several times on KDOC-TV uncut, minus the 30 second teasers. I edited the 30 second teasers onto the KDOC broadcasts, which brought the running time up to almost 49 minutes on those final 4 episodes. But for the most part, many fans have never had the chance to see these final shows unedited.

I have these uncut from the broadcast masters. They're really not all that great, cut other otherwise, aside from 'Desperado' - that one has the classic G.A.H. 'feel' to it. But I can't imagine why they WOULDN'T be included in the Season Three DVD set. If we got 'Heroine' we'll get those.

The final 4 all have their moments, even if they aren't the best of the series run. Even the almost universally hated Wizard's and Warlocks has some awesome flying FX, some great character banter, and a hilarous look by Katt when he gets caught by Bob Saget while changing into the suit.

Oh, I'm not offended. I'm sure it was obvious to you, although it was not to me. Bob Saget? How funny! I never saw most of season 3, and never had the opportunity with reruns. None of my cable stations ran it.

I rememeber I was very happy when I knew GAH was going to be syndicated. Now I could tape all the shows. (I hadnt gotten my first VCR until the start of season 3).
I did record all the episodes on audio cassette though! (The poor mans VCR back then) So I could at least listen to them.
Then once I starting seeing scenes missing, I was very disappointed. But I was happy to hear I would be seeing 4 new episodes, although cut.
So now we can get to see those uncut finally.

Yeah Saget appears in a small role as a college student in Wizard's & Warlocks.
I can't imagine not seeing it in reruns. It ran here until around 1987. Then it was a dry spell until FX hit the air in 1994. The FX run was the last time the series aired on a national level here in the United States.
All that really didn't matter to me personally since I had the episodes, minus the final 4 recorded from ABC. But I can see how serious TGAH fans could have missed the show since it's network cancellation, given it's spotty syndication after 87.

Yes. I haven't seen it at all since it went off the air originally! I am really enjoying these DVDs!

Oh I am too. Even though I've had TGAH to watch in the last 20+ years, I've still watched this freakin set 3 times. You just can't beat the quality.

Weird how the quality tends to look good in some scenes and absolutely INCREDIBLE/GREAT in others. The scene at the end of the pilot (ship comes back) and the scene a few min before right after Ralph lands after scaring off the president's helicopter look AWESOME, yet the scene 'in-between' with Ralph and Tony playing basketball just looks 'good'. I'm not complaining, no way, but just thought it worth a mention.
I can't believe how absolutely [glow=red,2,300]RED[/glow] The Suit looks in most scenes - outstanding.

In most major cities in Texas, GAH was in syndicated reruns until 1989. Then it was gone for good. I remember back in the 80s being so frustrated that the syndicated networks would never air the pilot, and I couldn't figure out why they did that. They would air the pilots of other shows.

There are several programs available that will let you rip the stereo audio track from DVDs and save them as either MP3s of WAVs, which can then be burnt to a CD. I've done this with Star Trek movies (nothing like listening to the Enterprise fly from one side of the car to the other) and could easily be done with GAH as well... just for Bill and Bob's banter if nothing else!
