In response to scenario's "Women of GAH" poll, I decided to do the opposite and see which male performer caught your eye throughout the series.

I voted for William Katt as Ralph. I think Ralph had an endearing quality inside and out. You felt as you could invite him for a cup of coffee and tell stories or talk about the day and not get bored. I think Ralph also caught my eye in that he's the one character I remembered from when I first watched the show. I was little when the show first came on, but as I was growing up, whenever Dad and I would talk about the show, I'd remember Ralph and his flying. I've watched quite a few shows again after a long absence, but Ralph is the only character I ever remembered from the get go.

I voted for Michael Pare as Tony Villicana. He played the "tough guy with a vulnerable side" really well.
I thought his character really helped to emphasize the side of Ralph that was so passionate about helping people and seeing the good in them. I also got a kick out of the banter between him and Bill Maxwell.
One of my favorite lines that I felt defined his character really well was in the episode Saturday Night on Sunset Boulevard:
Maxwell- "You think you know everything about finding a missing person...is that it?"
Tony- "I don't know spit about it Jack, but I know how to stand my ground"

And right there, I think Bill Maxwell sees himself in Tony. Right there.
