I sure as hell don't. This time around, it doesn't seem like many people have the DVDs, compared to the Season 1 set. Mine didn't ship until last Tuesday on 3-29 according to an email I got, with an estimated time of arrival of 4-7-05 to 4-12-05. 4-7? Bah, it hits the streets on 4-5!! I didn't use any expidited shipping, instead used their free stuff. I still figured that pre-ordering it would let me get it ahead of the street date, like last time. I switched from Amazon.com to DeepdiscountDVD figuring they would be faster. I am mad and upset, I would look through all the K-marts around town, but seeing as how it is 9:17 pm here where I live, we are only a few hours away from April 5th as of this writing. So screw it, the street date is nearly here. But I blew a lot of my money on pre-ordering it. These online companies can be really frustrating at times. But what I'm really p*ssed off at is the reported lack of teasers infront of the 2nd season episodes, and the lack of "Eve of Destruction" from the "Operation: Spoilsport" episode. it did seem too good to be true....missing the teasers is worse then the songs. -scenario-

Hey you, now quit with those faces! Be happy I got my email that my GAH 2 was shipped today. So, la la la la la la...I'm on cloud 9 right now. ;D I got the tracking, so I'm watching for it. hee hee... I just finished watching the 1st season. (I took my time) Ah, I love this show and look forward to having a bunch more. Whew, can't get enough. I've been so long without it.

I see that argument here a few times, and I think you should hold off judgement -- I don't even remember teasers from my childhood, although I'm sure they were very well done -- but they are basically advertisements -- when you see the reedit done to CLASSICAL GAS and the clumsy song insertions on SPOILSPORT, I don't think anyone will think the teasers are more essential than the songs!
I realize they were reallllly gooood teasers, but....

I ordered from DeepDiscountDVD for Season 1 and was told that my DVD set shipped on January 29th, well before the February 8th release date. I did not receive it until February 22nd. Granted the company is in Illinois and I live in Florida but it took three weeks. Everyone else had their set and I had to hear comments about it while I was still waiting. Cheap is not always better. I decided not to buy Season 2, online or otherwise because of the song fiasco and instead purchased copies of Season 2 and 3 from the tv shrine site for $40. Just my 2 cents! Ilana

My Season Two set arrived from DeepDiscountDVD last Saturday (with all of the discs and in perfect condition). Like others have said here, the one thing no one can complain about is the picture quality. Hoo Hah!
BTW, how come I'm the only person who seems bothered by Don Cervantes being removed from the opening credits and receiving absolutely no on-screen credit after "The Lost Diablo" on the new Season Two DVD set? Remember, he was bumped up to the opening credits mid-season, begining with "Plague".

If Stephen Cannell makes the news because some masked attacker beaned him with a shoe, we'll know who to blame.

I went to my local Kmart, and one 25 miles away yesterday to see if I could get it a day early. NO DICE! Our stores here stick by the dates in fear of a $5000.00 fine if they are caught selling early. So.. I stayed up till midnight, and went to Wal-mart. They wouldnt sell it to me until 12:30 am.. But I snatched it right out of the box. Came home and watched "The Beast in The Black". I went to sleep after that.. (about 2am) cuz I had to be to work at 4am.

Remember, he was bumped up to the opening credits mid-season, begining with "Plague". I am disturbed that Cervantes has been removed from the credits. Is that even legal? Did you noticed with the remastering done to the episodes a few years ago, Plague has lost the original TGAH font style. Except for the opening credits, the guest star credits and forward are in a different style than what was originally seen. I'm also very upset the teasers are not included. Many episodes had teasers featuring scenes or dialogue not found in the finished episode. While I do not agree with the music changes, I understand the factors involved. There is no reason (except for the elements no longer existing) for the 2nd & 3rd season teasers not to be included. So that really does bother me more the music substitutions. I hope you guys enjoyed the Cervantes triva question.

And while we're at it (though I may have mentioned it before), changing Connie Sellecca's billing from "and Connie Sellecca as Pam Davidson" to just plain "Connie Sellecca"? Aren't all those extra words like money in the bank for actors? I mean when they add the extra words that's extra compensation/prestige; y'know like Charles Haid as Renko.
Allow me to beat a dead horse for a minute. Over at The A-Team, when they changed "and Mr. T" to "and Mr. T as B.A. Baracus", that was like a raise, right? Same thing when they changed "Dwight Schultz" to "Dwight Schultz as Howling Mad Murdock". So this is a dis to Connie Sellecca; a demotion, if you will; a reduction in pay, so to speak. Though from where Don Cervantes is sitting, it probably looks pretty good.

There is a small booklet; one sheet folded in half, trivia questions and answeres only. The cover page is that of a regular DVD booklet, not the instruction book.
Now if Season Three comes with another instruction book...that would be cool.

The missing songs were at least understandable. I could live with the missing songs, dare I say, even "Eve of Destruction"....at least I was prepared for that one. But all these other whacked out changes are just plain freakin' ODD. No teasers? Don Cervantes gets screwed in the credits? Connie Sellecca's credits change? Font changes for certain episoces? What the hell is going on here? I hope we can get some kind of explanation for what has happened here. Surely they must have known that there are many, many copies of VCR recorded original episodes or studio masters of this show that aired from the early 80s floating around, and that changes WOULD BE NOTICED by fans. -scenario-

The Cervantes thing is just sloppy, pure and simple. It appears that they didn't use the original opening credits for each episode, just ONE credit sequence for all of them. It is LUDICROUS that he now gets NO credit at all. The same thing (in spirit) happened with SILK STALKINGS -- part of the charm of the show was how the cops were equals -- they'd rotate opening billing, with Rob Estes getting top one week, Mitzi Kapture getting top the next. For the first 2 seasons on DVD, Mitzi gets top every episode. Clearly, they are using just one version of the credits for the entire run of the season, for whatever reason.
