I don't have the set yet, but is most (or all) of the song that Hampton performs at the Station House removed? He jumps up on stage and starts a set while Ralph and Bill are on the way to tell him about Lenny. They come in towards the end, and have Rick Dees bring him off the stage after the song.

Hey, Scott! That'd be one cut scene I wouldn't mind! LOL!

Well the scene was there but I don't know if it was cut down, if they changed the music, or what. I did notice that there were no actual lyrics to the song.

Has anyone compiled a list of "altered" songs from season 3 yet? Also, wasn't "Sounds of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkle used in "Hog Wild"?

Yes. The Sound Of Silence was used in Hog Wild at the very end, and replaced on the USA DVD release, as was Bad Moon Rising from the same episode.
Season 3-wise, I know that You've Got A Friend from The Price Is Right episode was taken out (just some piano notes there now, I believe) and Pinball Wizard was removed from the Wizards And Warlocks episode.

On the episodes which say "butchered" we are usually talking about a couple of minutes missing. Classical Gas is the worst in terms of time cut. The worst cut, however, is considered to be Operation : Spoilsport, which, although it has the same runtime (a new song is inserted), the obvious cuts, dubs, and voiceovers make it infuriating for those of us with nostalgic memories. Most of the episodes, however, only us die hard fans really care that much about. Newbies might not even notice on many of the episodes.

I don't know who they got to replace those Songs in the Pilot but those songs Just don't fit the scenes the orignial songs were in. I've got the pilot on tape With the orignal songs Intact too.

I agree. Some of the 'replacement' music isn't bad - what replaced 'Taxman' is an example of that. But some of the 'new' songs are simply horrible (see: Rocket Man, A Beautiful Morning and... of course... Eve Of Destruction).

As discussed before, Don Cervantes has been omitted from the opening credits sequence. During the original run, he was added to it about a third of the way into Season Two, until the end of Season Two.
Now, I haven't sat down and watched every single episode on every single DVD; so imagine my surprise when a friend of mine asked to watch "the skiing episode" this past weekend and I saw Don Cervantes in the opening credits of, apparently, that one episode only.

Yeah, when I saw "It's All Downhill from Here," with the correct credits, I thought, "Great, they have the right credits and he's not in the episode." Definitely odd, but still, on the plus side, we get to at least see all of the credits used during the series. And, this is the only story in the DVD collection that has the Don Cervantes credit.

I hated that in the original run too...no Cyler. He was always a co-star in the credits during the show, but not in the opening credits. And I thought Cervantes had one other opening credit appearance on the second season, but I can't remember where now...I thought it was another one he wasn't in.
