Grrr... Wow, I've had the Season One DVDs for almost a year now and just noticed a slight, um, major problem with the discs. For some reason, I cannot play the any of the DVDs on my computer and they won't even play on my other DVD player. It says "cannot play this type of disc". So, it would make one wonder then what sort of disc it is... It only plays on my other DVD player, so who knows. Golly, I got a new notebook with an awesome DVD player and widescreen, so I wanted to watch 'My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys' and it would not play! argh. But then it's only Season One, I watched some shows from Season 3 and all was well.

I have noticed mine will not play on the computer either, but Lauren said it is due to the fact that you need a certain program.

I think I'd said they play best in PowerDVD (which is the program I use). I haven't had a problem playing any of them on my computer. The only time I've ever had a problem is just getting the DVD drive to read the discs, in which case, I open the drawer, turn the disc 90 degrees, & put it back in.

I had the exact same problem with my disks, but I found a different solution to get them to work: - You put the disk in.
- You take the disk out.
- You put the disk in.
- Then you shake it all about.

I am sure that helps niles a ton. Sorry for the misunderstanding, Lauren. As everyone can tell, I still don't watch them on the computer.

Hey cool! Thanks!! I tried that and it worked! ;D Golly, if I would've done that to begin with it woulda saved me the headache. and having to go on a Maxwell type rant... Actually, I changed my settings on my puter. Still don't understand why the only the 3rd Season played and not the others...odd, it is. Anyhoo, hopefully it'll keep working. Didn't work in PowerDVD, but when I tried the Pilot in InterActual player, it worked. hmmm....

Mine still refuse to play on the computer...I guess I will have to be satisfied with them on my DVD player.

My disc 3 seems to have a spot where some players play it with no problems, while others start stuttering and locking up. Odd.
