Not that ther's anything wrong with 'Lois&Clark' right? ( I've actually had the chance to see all but one of Superman's incarnations-the Kirk Alyn ones) No (I liked it too), but given the station's tendency to ignore the show (save this past year's with Scarbury singing the theme), it wouldn't surprise me if that happened. Think about it, Ralph is nominated twice for an award, and both awards mysteriously disappear. Given some of the nominees, such as Lou Ferrigno for superhero and Airwolf (well the helicopter), it does make you think. And, while I liked watching "Shazaam!" in the "TVLand Kitschen," they could've put "GAH" in the hour block. It didn't have to be "Batman." Or, did 1 hour "Batman" and 1 hour "GAH."

These programmers always put on what they think will have the best viewership. I think they put on Batman, Superman, and the like because they think it will get the fans.
Let's face it. GAH is quirky. It was low budget. A lot of people don't like it, don't give it a chance, or just don't know what it is. It will not and cannot compete with the Batman and Superman slots. That doesn't mean it can't be shown. It would probably take someone like us (a long time fan) getting a programming job at a station and airing it as their pet project. If that can happen.
Maybe college and university stations can air it... share the love with a new generation?
I think we all need to go out to the streets and share the love of GAH.

It could've been in place of "Shazaam!" and the other 30 min. show they had on opposite "Batman." I didn't even know about "Shazaam!" until it came to TVLand for that block. Personally, I think Isis would've been interesting to watch too (plus side, at least it wasn't DynaGirl. That was a little too hokey for me).

So many people, IRL, when I mention GAH say, "Oh man, I LOVED that show!" I think one of the cable channels, maybe Sci-Fi (if they dont' cut the snot out of it), would do well to play a GAH marathon. That'd be so cool.
Then again, I'd also love to see a Bionic Woman marathon as well. That'd rule.

It seemed that a few years after GAH left the prime time ABC broadcast airwaves it was all over syndication networks all thru the 80s. I remember for several years during the mid to late 80s, GAH was on maybe three or four different stations simultaneously. Then the 90s came and it just disappeared.

Except for FX where it was on for a couple of years.

Yes, I did forget about that. I think FX only aired them in '94 and they butchered the hell out of those episodes. It was cool that they at least kept the teasers intact, though.

I remember seeing them years after the show originally went off the air on a local channel in my area (WGN - Channel 9) and they were cut-up back then too. So annoying to know the episodes so well that you start to quote the next line and the next line isn't there.

FX aired the show until around early 1997 when the network re-launched, finally ending broadcasting the series in a very early morning timeslot. It was very cool that they kept the teasers!

Imagine if TV Land aired GAH. They'd probably cut it down to fit in a half-hour slot (oh, and cut the INTRO). They're sooooooo bad at that sort of thing...

I am bumping this...
...simply because I think there's always a good excuse for a GAH marathon!
Bill: "Oooohh! What do we have here? They're running an all day GAH Marathon today. What happened? People got sick of watching another episode of Golden Girls?"

GOLDEN GIRLS had its place. I figure I might do a GAH Halloweenish marathon on Wednesday...unless my sister-in-law has her baby.

Well, if she does, you can have a "GAH: Pam's Prego Months" Marathon.

Well, it will have to be later regardless. I won't be at home to watch them.

Quite the opposite, in fact. In the first few episodes after she returned, she sported quite the... um... 'healthy' look to her.

Watching Connie walk around was one of the only reasons I really enjoyed The Lost Diablo. I know... that's bad, but still...
