If Kevin Hinkley is used in a GAH reunion, what profession would he have?
Teacher? Cop? Lawyer? Salesman?
Also, I would also think there might be some tension between father and son since Kevin apparently went off to live with his mother (thus his absence in later episodes)...

The studios today would probably have have Kevin un-employed, fronting a grunge band, pierced, tattooed, and still living with Ralph and Pam (along with his pregnant girlfriend).
If it is a quality production (or done by Disney), Kevin would probably be succesful in some respectable, politically-correct field...doctor, social worker, pro-bono attorney, etc.

I get the feeling Kevin would end up being a teacher, just like dad. It'd be very interesting especially if there is tension between the two.

Well, the last time anyone saw him, he was hanging out with this unruly looking crowd... www.imdb.com/name/nm0930152/...btw, notice how beautifully Rod Holcomb composes this shot...

Ralph would freak if he knew his kid had all that jewelry and a mohawk

Everybody knows I'm referring to the white kid all the way on the right, right?

I made this suggestion awhile back. Kevin Hinkley as either a newspaper reporter(uh-oh, too much like Clark Kent). Okay, how about a TV reporter who is sent to cover unusual sightings in Palmdale. The original concept was based on irony.

I never watched "X-Files," but didn't they have that little spin-off of those freaks that investigated "paranormal" phenomena? I can't remember the show, or what these guys were called, but maybe Kevin could do that!
Maybe as the years progressed (okay, up till his father lost the suit, as rumor has it happens in GAHeroine... I wouldn't know, not having seen it) he starts putting all these little things together... like when he saw dad in this weird red outfit in the pilot... or in "My Heroes...." when that pain-in-the-butt FBI agent/friend of Dad's mentioned "the suit," and Kevin was immediately chased out of the room... All these start kind of adding up in Kevin's little brain over time, so he starts checking into all these oddities going on in and around L.A. and So-Cal.
Okay, I'm blathering. I actually don't care about Kevin and wonder to this day why they even had him in the show, if they weren't going to keep him.

Wasn't everyone's memory erased in "Heroine"?

I watched HEROINE again and they said that the way to make everyone forget was to give the suit to someone else. The green guys never said they could MAKE the world forget by pressing a button or anything. I think it is based on the 200 mph fastball premise that the public has a short attention span. I think the show would have been enhanced had Kevin stayed around, but if he came back, I think it would be fun to have him still not know and see his dad and think that his dad was a nut or something.

I think Kevin should be the next "suit" wearer, and that Ralph is opposed to it but knows deep down that once the Green Guys have chosen someone.... and reluctantly has to accept it...I think there could be some tense moments between father and son. Kevin asks Ralph for help with the suit and at first Ralph refuses, but over the course of the movie, realizes that it is his son and that he needs to help Kevin as a suit instructor...

I think it would be better to have Kevin learn by himself...I think that helped keep the charm of the original show alive too.

I have changed my mind the more I hear about this. I don't think it should be Kevin as the new suit wearer...since the show ditched Kevin, WE should ditch Kevin. And Tony since he was gone in season 3...besides, what could he really have become to be a useful suit wearer OR partner?

Agreed! And since the show ditched Ralph and Pam we should ditch Ralph and Pam. Let's hear it for a Bill and Holly reunion all the way!

I have considered that, but view it as counterproductive since some people will remember the show from its original run, but not have access to the DVDs where HEROINE is shown. I get the feeling you are mocking me. I just think that it should transfer to someone else...why keep Ralph and Pam in it? Maybe I agree with that statement J-Man. Maybe have them come back with Bill for an episode similar to DON'T MESS AROUND WITH JIM if it is TV or for a brief segment if a movie.

I get the feeling you are mocking me. Maybe I am...maybe I'm not. You know, the only one who is really indispensable in any reunion project is Mya Akerling. Look at how Culp loves to share the screen with her. Look at how just the appearance of her name floating on screen in the guest star credits brings joy to Culp's face.

Too funny J-Man. Have to agree she is probably the one you could totally get away forgetting in any restart with no problems. Even did that with "Ties..." (and HD, I'm only making a comment in regard to how forgettable Sarah truly was. ) Kevin would be neat to have in the movie, but more as someone who's come to visit. I dont' see him getting the suit as he up and left after the first season. A lot of the stories I've read where people have tried to make him teh wearer ended up not going too far. He's too much canon, including his leaving, to really create a strong continuation with hi in the jammies.
