If for some reason a movie is not gonna happen, why not a weekly series (The Next Greatest American Hero) with Kevin getting the suit...WIlliam, COnnie, and Robert can be supporting cast, bring back Michael as FBI Agent Villacona... I can see Kevin "losing" the book by testing out a force field power that somehow encases the book indefinitely inside a blue/purple kinda bubble...Ralph and Bill would have to help Kevin learn everything all over again - newer suit, newer powers/different way to use old powers???...Maybe have an episode where Kevin is incapicitated and because Ralph was a former suit-wearer, it would let him use the jammies one time (and against his wishes to never wear the suit again) to save the day. WOuld he fall to temptation to use the suit like the episode Don't Mess Around With Jim?

I ha an idea for a reunion movie where Ralph gets the suit one last time to save Pam from some crime organization that's headed by the son of Johnny "the dancer" Damanti(and others are kidnapped as well)because of not letting his dad out of prison(she's now a judge)and he passed away in there.Bill is a few days away from retirement, and Tony is with the FBI. at the end of the movie,Ralph,Pam,Bill, and Tony meet in the desert to introduce Tony to Kevin(who now has the suit)in which they'll be partners like Bill and Ralph were. If you're interested in joining our group of people who are interested in writing the script(some scenes are already done)or helping with ideas, there is a link in the guest forum(no membership required section)and look in the GAH fan film part for the link. Teh more people that help, the sooner it can be finished. Believe it or not!!!

Well if it happens I agree about Kevin BUT it doesn't come with a book. The Green Guys said they have no more to give. Besides losing the book a third time?? Unless it is stolen by a semi reoccurring bad guy and in a battle a choice must be made and they have to sacrifice the book...

I still think Kevin and Tony are bad choices...because I think the original cast still has some screen time where they could rule the airwaves.

I figure in the last 20+ years, the Green Guys made a slightly newer and improved version of the suit with a few more abilities thrown in and maybe a few twists on the old abilities, which would mean a new instruction book (of which he would only get one)...I kinda like the irony that I explained above that he accidently encased the new book in a force field bubble indefinitely... Kevin wouldn't have "lost" the book, but he can't use it either...
As for the original cast, would they all be willing to commit full time to a weekly series?

Of course. That would all be part of the fun for Kevin to not have the instruction book like his dad. And say if the reunion movie worked(with the original cast),then maybe the new series could work as well.As for Tony and Kevin, it could work as they might have the same chemistry that Ralph and Bill did. who knows?

I also had an idea for the NGAH to have a recuring nemesis like a wealthy but corrupt businessman....who in the mid to late 80's bought up a lot of Palmdale desert property for "research" facilities (aka weapons experiements)... What if just prior to acquiring all this land, he did a survey of his soon-to-be property and found a book labled INSTRUCTIONS but the interior pages were a bunch of symbols that no linguist can identify (the first book Ralph lost the night he got the suit).... Over the years, this businessman slowly starts to piece it together that Palmdale desert supposedly gets extraterrestrial activity, keeps trying to obtain proof to this effect, and dreams of "Getting his hands" on alien technology to make a fortune....

I think it would be more fun if the nemesis had a suit he or she couldn't use right either. I think that what I saw of Kevin and Tony that they don't have the right chemistry...unless they BOTH matured A LOT. I think it would be great if Kevin had the suit but Ralph and Bill did not know about...and when they did find out...they were useless because nothing was the same.

Tony would be the muscle and I can see him becoming a Fed so he can beat up and shoot pppl legally and get paid for it. Kevin is an open book since he disappeared in Season 2, you can make him anything you want

True...Kevin is easy to mold the way you want him...but I still think Tony would be too dense to make a good counterpart...especially not to the level of Bill.

I see your point, but in one way I can see a parallel to Bill... TOny wouldnt be a good fed on his own, alla sudden teamed up with the jammies the Villacona Package starts to stand out. Maybe the Green Guys admit they are not sure about teaming Kevin up with Maxwell's protoge' and give his IQ a boost like that Twilight Zone episode with Burgess MEredith...

Well, they would have to do SOMETHING about him because I think Tony would hurt a new attempt like Holly hurt the HEROINE attempt.

OK, here's a twist:
Kevin is teamed up with son of Carlisle much to Bill's dismay, but you can still have Tony's character as a street informant like Huggy Bear...At some point, Tony figures out abut the jammies

Would he be smart enough to figure out about the jammies? I see Tony in jail because he dropped out of school and got caught and Pam is still trying to get him out of the electric chair. I think Cyler would be better as Huggy Bear although I think he probably succeeded in life with the help of Ralph.

You know, that's a pretty good one, same with the son of Carlysle being Kevin's partner, but I don't think that they would totally understand the whole supersuit or the little green guys. I still think it should be Tony as he would've grown up by now and be more of a mature person by now. Anyways, that's the last of my two cents for today, more tomorrow.

Maybe he would be more mature...he never did progess in the three seasons he was in. I do think it funny that Carlisle's son be teamed up with Kevin...especially if that means Bill and Carlisle had to interact more.

Not too sure about Kevin to begin with, as most people who casually watch the show don't remember the character. But, I could see some of the kids appear, some successful, others still struggling. I'd love to see a weekly series happen, but if they're not going to give revivals of shows much chance (i.e. "Kolchack: The Night Stalker," which I was interested in), then it's better to leave it be.

someone needs to tell SJC to put a new weekly NGAH series on the CW Channel next fall...then do a crossover with Smallville...what if Clark meets a guy in red jammies and wonders if his destiny is to fly around out of control

I am not a big cross-over fan and SMALLVILLE is not exactly quality television to me...not the same way GAH is, so I don't think it would fit the true intent behind the original show and would put the new GAH in a position like the YOUNG MACGYVER pilot they made for the WB....garbage.
