Well, this is just a crazy idea, but something I wouldn't put past Disney, if the movie ever got off the ground. With the recent TV show film adaptations being redone with all-African American casts, ("Honeymooners" w/Cedric and Omar Epps, and the upcoming "Welcome Back Kotter" w/Ice Cube producing and starring as Gabe Kotter) might it happen with a GAH movie? Kinda fun to think about....hypothetically of course. Off the top of my head, I could see Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith starring as Ralph & Pam, and Bill......I could see the studio possibly placing Bernie Mac in the role. Yeah, I know, stupid thought, but something possible, given studio execs now

All say it again, there are only a few movie remakes that worked well. "Maverick" and "The Little Rascals" come to mind. This would be a gamble, but who knows now a days. Been wondering if they ought to try something like "Ties that fly" personally (OK, self-promo a bit, but I wrote it as though it could be a reunion show). It'd be a handing over the suit, but the original trio would still be there, at least for a while. (Don't get me wrong, the stories are still same scenario, but I haven't added the third in the Aidan-Tony duo yet. Might be a boyfriend, but not sure yet.)

Actually, I was thinking an all-Asian, all-female cast. Look as what a big hit "The Joy Luck Club" was a few years ago!

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like my idea of an all-Asian version of "GAH". That way Robert Culp can still do a cameo. I mean, think about it, we already know he can play Asian... And with that dignified thought, I give you this, my 500 th post. Thank you...and good night.

Congrats on the post number, J-Man. I think an all-black cast would give due recognition to Cyler and he could get the suit or play the Maxwell part.

I think the Asian cast might be a harder sell although we know Jackie Chan can do comedy. I think it would be nice to have a mix. I think Cyler could play one of the leads and get a nice female Asian actress who can be the Pam character and then find someone to play the other lead male character...or do like they did with BatGirl and make Pam a lesbian and let Cyler play the male lead. Maybe a Native American as Maxwell or Ralph.
