I think Ted meant just wanting to get the answers straight from you. (yes... literal MelMac mode is here. ) I do have a question: where did you get the idea for Morgan Hathaway? In the filmed version of "GAHeroine," Holly is apparently single/never married and is an adopted mother to Sarah. If it's a backstory you came up with here and you can't say right now, I respect that, but I am interested in how you came up with the idea. We got the idea from The Greatest American Heroine. Remember when Ralph was questioning Holly what if a man came into her life would she give up what she believed in? That was the perfect setup to bring Morgan Hathaway to life.

Alright, alright! Now we need a "Just for Collazo" thread... Another question: Does Mr. "badboyedge4life" Lingle know where I live? It seems I may have contributed to his getting fired today (at least according to him )

Is there any idea of getting the original trio to make appearances or would that likely cause trademark issues? I do not know how that would work honestly. We have scheduled for three seasons so if WE as a collective make it a really good webisode maybe SJC (Joan) will change her mind.

Another question while I am thinking it: Did you approach SJC and see if there was a chance to work with him and get help or was the idea to branch away as much as possible? I first pitched it to Ron then Joan emailed me back saying that she was not interested in our FanFilm. I think it was probably due to it being Webisodes. Hollywood is now trying to understand Webisodes so hopefully we do a good job and add to the franchise.

By the way, can we get an agreement from everybody that if Mr Collazo chooses to edit our questions together for his next newsletter, that we give our permission? I'm sure he has people on his mailing list who do not visit this board (*gasp*), but would like to see this Q&A?
(I guess rather than everyone posting "OK" or "Why not?" or "My lawyer will call you", maybe people who have some problem with it should just PM me. I don't want to get into a debate on the legality of disseminating info that can easily be found on the web...)

okay. first question from me....... why did you pick Heroine and not Hero. too much stuff with the original series, and Heroine was easier to work with(a clean slate sorta) This one is actually a good question. My daughter is now getting into superheros (she's 9) I thought doing a Heroine would be good for her and more challenging for us.

Can we expect any more "open" filming shoots? I have to eat my words concerning the last shoot, but that was long ago (this morning), when I thought "B" spoke for your production. I'd love to come visit any (weekend?) shoots as an official T-G-A-H.com forum member, and will get as many of us there as possible to fill that fan canopy

That sounds like an interesting back story. That does set up alot of posibilities.

My daughter is now getting into superheros (she's 9) I thought doing a Heroine would be good for her and more challenging for us. I do want to say - if it helps - that writing a female in the suit is tough, but fun. So far, it sounds like an interesting prospect. And, the comment made in Heroine does open that door - given that it's some years since then. This does beg to ask though - is this set present day or future, because technically, going by the year "Heroine" was shot, Morgan at most could be 22 (and that's if Holly was fooling around). She'd also probably be 20 or younger if Holly dated, got married and then had a baby. Again, if that's a suprise, I understand.

Well, if no one else is jumping on this: Without revealing any secrets, is the new costume meant to simply be a 21-century update, or is it to differentiate yourselves from the original, as you said earlier? I understand that the new emblem will be explained as part of the new "mythos", but the suit itself also seems to be radically different (no sleeves, cutouts on hips, material?) As you may have read here before, our members have nit-picked the NBC remake costume to death, and that was over minor changes Perhaps how that the clips are on the TGAH2008 YouTube site, you could share a clearer picture of the suit with us (maybe, maybe, hopefully, aw come on!) Also, what can you tell us about the actress playing Morgan? (No, I won't stalk her; my interest in a female suit-wearer is purely for humor purposes ) The answer to your first question is BOTH. Remember the power is in the suit NOT the person. So this means that the suit is intelligent enough to know when to protect it's host and when not to. Think of the suit as symbiotic. As far as the actress playing Morgan. It took 5 months to find a female reluctant hero. Our actress not only brings the necessary emotional turmoil required but also strong enough to stand up for herself in frustration. She was the perfect choice anyone else would have been a disaster!

Possible expected question from me, but here goes it. Will any locations from the former show be used? As a possible cameo appearance or the like? (And if so, could you list the ones being used. I collect that kind of information here.. lol.. just joking on that request.) Yes, Whitney is the town we found no reason to relocate the story.
