Been thinking about this... we're all different, yet all love this show... For me, I have both sets now. I finished the first one last week and started the second one today. So average for me is one show, sometimes two, a week. Anyhoo, I'm too busy during the week to get a chance to watch. (well I tried to watch one evening after a hectic day and fell asleep) Sunday afternoons are my time to curl up with a snack, my cat, and watch my DVDs of The Greatest American Hero! Ah, what bliss!

I try to watch one episode a day. I completed the entire series and go back and watch the episodes I like. I don't have a cat to curl up with but I have a fish. Not the same thing but I have to see my favorite characters at least once a day.

I watch it curled up with my little 5 year old girl. (She loves Tony too.)

It's probably best to watch the show with ones who like it. Well, I don't know anyone who really likes it at all, so I watch it by my lonesome, like I did back in the 80s. Oh well, I keep thinking how awesome it'd be to gather around with a bunch of cool people, watch the show, laughing and having lots of fun.

I'm sorta bouncin' around...showed it to my Polish girlfriend, who's a big I SPY fan, but never heard of GAH -- she liked the pilot, but I think she's not crazy about the overall show -- I think she liked the 3 main characters, but the sometimes kids-oriented stuff seems to really bore her -- she watches it, but doesn't show the love, if ya know what I mean.
So the 1st season I kind of watched in a best/worst order, trying to hook her - we watched the pilot, the Hit Car, & then I jumped to Best Desk Scenario thinking she'd like that one...she liked em OK, but I think if I asked her (I haven't) she really has only liked the pilot.
season 2 we started with "Chicken in Every Plot" because I remembered that one really vividly from my childhood -- of course I still liked it, but it is kinda dumb in a way -- I've avoided the music-raped episodes, but I showed her MY HEROES hoping she'd dig it (its pretty mature in some of its themes), and she fell asleep!
So now I'm bouncing around -- when she's not here, I watch some of the eps that I suspect she wouldn't dig ("HOG WILD," and "LOST DIABLO", neither of which I love myself), and am saving some of the more offbeat ones for when she'll be around -- "Lilacs Mr. Maxwell" we may watch this weekend, because she likes Culp and really likes HICKEY AND BOGGS and the eps he wrote and directed for I SPY, so I figure she'll be predisposed to rooting for it...
Success or failure? We'll see!

Come on J-Man, I doubt anyone here is that bad. Liking this show doesn't mean nerdy, though I myself still don't go out of my way to advertise it. And I'm not middle aged either, I'm still in my young 20s (OK not by much, but you can call me a "young man" and it would still be the truth)
Cannell is a pretty manly, tough, macho guy afterall, if a guy like him made the damn show then it can't be all that bad can it?

I have a GAH fest on my tv, then I watch it on my computer so I can take pictures to do the crazy captions I do.

Me, I usually spend an evening watching an episode with the lights off (to give it a movie theater feel) and a soda (usually Dr Pepper). I like to listen to the opening and closing credits music twice, making it a lot of fun.

I OD'd on GAH when I got the DVDs. I very rarely watch an episode in its entirety now; like I mentioned in another thread (and I think MrsM too), I usually just fast-forward to the Bill scenes now I'm like, Yeah, yeah, just get on to Bill already!

OOh Yeah! I OD'd too when I got mine. Not only that I show it to all the kids I sit for. The 7 yr old girl Loves Bill. I didn;t expect that. I mean he is wonderful and I love him too (but I got a hot and heavy for Ralph).

I haven't seen all of the stories yet, but I've been busy with work and vacation (I don't get many of them in my job). Also, I have been busy working on the story summary (I plan on posting it tomorrow if I finish it tonight) and the story itself. I did that so I wouldn't confuse an episode with a story. But once those are over, I'm going to sit back and watch the show again.

I have to watch them in order and I usually watch one or two every Tuesday and Thursday in between jobs. I have already made my one friend in this crappy place I live watch them in order and she was "eh" with them...most of them. Back to my old obsessive-compulsive ways.
