Sad thing is, with all the changes and deleted posts, we don't know if the 10K is really the 10K anymore or if it's now the 5K or the first post... (Maybe I'm getting a little too philosophical).

Well, those posts DO show us where everything was at one point. And besides, once the entire forum is cleaned out, then we can have a REAL 20K posting...and not just fluff hopefully.

No, fluff is for the fluff thread, and we need to mend or surgically remove the deleted screencaps posts. There are only a few posts I think though that do say this was the X post on the board. Most are bump in ranking posts, such as mine to Apprentice Warlock.

We are now at over 21,000 posts...and most of those are becoming REAL posts with the mods and admin helping to clear out the leftover excess that has been building. Plus, we are at over 1,000 topic choices...although some are locked and the like, but it shows how durable and the like this forum really is. Congrats to everyone, but especially GREENGUY. EDIT: Of course as the mods and admins keep deleting useless posts and the like...we will decrease as we have done now, but that still shows we are strong.

Yes, we are the masters at yo-yo'ing as far as posts are concerned.

Does it matter? The only important things to remember are: 1. The 10,000th post was in "All Bill, All the Time" and 2. I did it.

While we all know certain landmark posts, technically, any numbered ones are no longer the legit number posts. If we want to go this way, I can legitimately say I'm the first female mod on this board and the youngest of the four (age-wise, but inside we're all young at heart.) Point is, we still have over 10,000 posts, even deleting them, and that's cool for a show that lasted only three seasons (not even complete ones at that.)

You know... this thread is going to take on a whole new meaning soon, as Houdiniderek's about 380 or so posts from actually - LITERALLY - reaching 10,000 posts solo. Now question is... what should happen when he reaches that landmark?

When he reaches 10,000 posts, we should require that his posts be more than 10 words long, instead of the average of 5.
See how fast he reaches 11,000 that way...

What's even sadder, he's trouncing all four mods, who have been around longer than he's been on the boards. Even I was on for a few months before him. :-\

See how fast he reaches 11,000 that way... I can always write like MelMac. And the majority of my posts ARE over five words long. I think you are reading the wrong forum. It will be a race. I am almost at 10K on the Support Board too.

So is there going to be a cake or is it not that big of a deal? And BW, I can assure you that MY 10K post won't be in the Bill thread.

HD,
I'd pay $100 for a night with Bill. You set it up. I'll pay you cash.
I have over 400 posts!

It looks like I will be getting 10K on the Support Board first unless this forum goes through some massive posting and responding by me in the next few hours.
