If I'm readin' it a'right, it looks like this board is gonna break 10,000 posts today... Who will be Mr. or Ms. 10K? Well, going by who posts how much/how often on the boards lately, it'll be HD, billswoman, you or me. (Though in my case I hope it's someone else. Don't want to be called a "mouth-breather" on top of literal around here. ) Anyway, I'm shoving off tonight before I get too silly again. Gotta start thinking about the first move for the next GAH interactive story thread. I'm about to go into a long practice time for my juggling routines for the variety show, so I'd better have the RD written while it's still fresh in my mind. Have to get the one to "Theme to The Greatest American Hero" down with the red tennis shoes I have so I don't fall down again (Slipped on the juggling clubs). The other ("In the Mood") is a play it by ear, so anything goes.

I'll lay low until the big broohaha. I wonder if there'll be balloons? Or cake. Or... BISCUITS!! Woo! Celebration Biscuits for everyone!

I wonder if there'll be balloons? Or cake. Or... BISCUITS!! Woo! Celebration Biscuits for everyone! Sad thing is, out of the three of us over 1K, I'm the senior one. I joined last March, and had to have my profile restarted in April when my computer remembered all but the password to this board. Still haven't figured it out. As far as surprises, I guess I could bring "cookies." So far, I've received cookies from two groups as a thank you for helping them promote their events. Though I shared the treats with the rest of the staff (I work at a paper), I still have dessert through the rest of the week. But, they're good cookies, so it's all good. (or reality, could say something silly.) Ok, last post for tonight. 'Night all.

(I think ) It's great to see that the boards hit 10,000. I brought the "cookies," but I only have molasses ones left. (They're good though.) At the rate it's going, I'll be eating cookies, etc. for a month (I have that many). Good thing I like cookies.

Congrats, billswoman. I think board goals are great, but I doubt we reach another milestone by the end of the year though...such as 15,000 posts or anything. However, I am going to do my part and see if I cannot get at least 2,000 personal posts in by the start of 2006. Got to help the boards in whatever we can. If I can do it, I will have just under a fifth of the total posts on the board...scary, huh?

Between you, me and billswoman, we've covered probably about a quarter to two-fifths of the total (approximately 4,000 posts). That's a lot of words (though two of us are the rookies and one's the senior (and I don't mean by number of posts ) ) Sorry I'll quit being an egghead and go back to posting silly captions.

I noticed that too. I did some calculations, not because I love math, but because I was the only one on here for a while. On December 28th, it will be exactly four months since I started on the boards. That means I am getting roughly four to five hundred posts in a month...and I get a couple of extra days to get my 2K in before the New Year.

And, sad thing is, I've been on the boards since (correctly) March, and have 1,200+ posts, so I average about 110-120 or so posts a month. But, goes to show you slow and steady will still add up to a lot of posts (especially when you're a senior on the boards.)

Yeah and look at us...boy, MelMac is such a slacker. Not really, since most of my posts, if broken out into 1-5 sentences each (average post here), would probably total more than 2,000 to 4,000 total. (Good grief, maybe I'm really the mouth-breather here. ) Still, sometimes it's worth the time and effort to get to the next level. (Except maybe in Dungeons and Dragons when you don't know how to play and you end up running like a chicken with your head cut off to get away from the mice and bats.)

Well, if you broke my sentences down I would have a gajillion posts.

[ ] Carlisle: Billy, what are you doing? Bill: Letting you know that in 1776 our founding fathers inked the greatest document ever. Carlisle: Why do we care right now? Bill: Because HD just reached that on posts and I thought we should all take a moment and remember our roots and how we got to where we are today and... Carlisle: Shut up! [ ] Bill (under breath): Unpatriotic punk. Carlisle (off-pic): WHAT!? Bill (clenched teeth): You are a stunning hunk.

Tomorrow is my four-month anniversary and I am over 2100 posts...my monthly average could kick some royal booty. And I'm nearing my 1,500th post, which should mean I get my fifth star. Now, I wonder what'll be. Could it be some cool ranking or will it be "fifth star level poster?" Only the Shadow knows (well, MyTatuo), since I gave him three choices. (and I'd like to find out myself. )
