Here's an interesting question for everyone. I'm watching Reseda Rose and just noticed the title of the episode didn't even appear on screen until the DVD player was already past the 12 minute, 30 second mark. I can't think of ANY other G.A.H. episode that waited that late in the episode just to introduce the title. Anyone?

probably a technique, seldom used, to introduce the title/topic only when the viewer is presented with some elements of the core script... I bet this is just a style thingy, just for fun.

Not seldom used; quite common, at least on Cannell shows of that era. Though I can't immagine we'd find one that beats "Reseda Rose."

Definitely that of Roseda Rose is one of the most delayed titles in the history of cinema, I agree. That delay technique however does not apply much to movies as to TV shows, I noticed.

I think that was something they used to do often on Columbo. Start the episode and then it would be a while before any of the credits would kick - the story/plot was already in full swing beforehand.

Check out how long it takes for the title to the episode "Dreams" to appear!

yeah, true, on Columbo as well; it's a show from the '70s-'80s also.
I should check out Dreams next time I play that disc but I doubt it beats Roseda's
