Hi, My wife and I just watched the episode and there is a scene on the Federal Building where Bill is talking to Ralph and a guy from transcripts, who calls himself "Eugene Vale/Vail from transcripts" talks to Bill and Ralph. The actor who played Eugene is not in the credits nor is he on www.epguides.com and my wife and I just can't place him. Anybody here have an idea who he is? Thanks.

Bob, you are right. That is a tough one. He is not listed on IMDB as guest-starring in the episode either. Sometimes that means that the person in question might have been a stagehand or propmaster or something and was put in at the last minute as it done on other shows. Sorry I could not help, but if I found out, I will post it here.

Thanks I appreciate it. BTW, my wife says I'm a lot like Bill Maxwell...must be those 20 years I spent as a sergeant in the military.

Do you eat dog biscuits TOO? No problem...I will keep looking and see if I can't find an obscure reference to the man somewhere. In the meantime though, you should join the board since you are obviously a fan.

The actor who played Eugene is not in the credits nor is he on www.epguides.com and my wife and I just can't place him. Anybody here have an idea who he is? Eugene Vale was played by Michael Cornelison www.imdb.com/name/nm0180165/. Interestingly, imdb lists his appearence in "Lilacs, Mr. Maxwell", but not "The Hand-Painted Thai". I'll submit the correction immediately*. Note Cornelison's imdb mini-bio cites "GAH" as his favorite show. *I'm proud to say that I'm the guy that submitted Tony Cox's "GAH" appearence to imdb, and almost all of William Bogert's.

Good call. I thought she was doing random trivia, but of course, it would make since for it to be from the THAI episode. And you are right, J-Man...that is what it is.

Good catch, J-Man. You have too much free time. That is exactly what I told several friends of mine in an e-mail about 20 minutes before you posted this very comment. I'll send you a copy so you don't think I'm making it up.

Thanks and PLEASE keep up the good work. Corrupt data is our enemy. ;D Well, I wouldn't call it corrupt data; just incomplete. To clarify: Michael Cornelison appeared as Eugene Vale in both "The Hand-Painted Thai" and "Lilacs, Mr. Maxwell". Like in the case of Tony Cox and William Bogert, it's just a matter of getting imdb to add credits that have not been included, yet, for whatever reason.

Cornelison's bio also states he is from Iowa, and still makes his home there. You should look him up, HD, see if you can get an interview as our Iowa correspondant. Thanks for the info, J-Man!

HEY NOW!!imdb accepted my submitted addition of "THPT" and the character's name for both episodes he appeared in for Michael Cornelison www.imdb.com/name/nm0180165/ (and in pretty short order, if I might add). While I was on a roll, I also submitted (and they accepted) Sheryl Crow's appearance in the final episode of "Cop Rock" www.imdb.com/name/nm0002028/.
