hey...
I'm looking to make a t-shirt myself... but i don't particularly love the ones at coffee press. I wanted one in a red shirt to match my superman, batman and ninja turtle one (i.e. Shirt the color of the suit)
I cant find a high enough resolution for it to come out well. anyone know where to find it?

I myself am not too pleased with the cafepress ones either, especially since nowadays it looks like I'm going to start wearing a hat. So a nice cap would be good, but I only see the trucker hat with the GAH logo. I'm not really sure if I want to start my own cafepress section just to get a cap with the logo on it. Agreed though, there needs to be a red shirt with the logo.

The only person I know of who has a copy of the emblem is The J-Man. He might be able to help you out. I got my from houdiniderek, but he's apparently being Houdini right now and hasn't talked much lately ( ). It's a nice version of the emblem, and works well on a red shirt... so long as you use a dark iron on transfer (I nearly didn't ). You don't, you'll end up with like what I did (intentionally) in the signatures/avatars: Hope this helps some. If not, slap my face with a trout (OK, I'm getting silly with that again. ... )

I have this one... photobucket.com/albums/b398/lauren9847/logotransparent.pngI'm not sure how high a res you're looking for, but I've used this one for images. I also have this that I made a black cap with on Cafepress... i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/lauren9847/logowitheyesdarkbluebg5b.jpgThe only thing is, I couldn't upload the actual bitmap I used as the file size was too big for photobucket, but if anyone's interested, I'd be more than happy to email it. (Also, as Cafepress was mentioned... I'd tried to create a GAH shirt on Zazzle.com & they sent me an email saying the shirt would not be produced because of copyright--I had the logo & the GAH title on it. So your best bet would be to buy a red t-shirt & iron-on transfers. That's what I'm going to do for my t-shirt.)

^ Yeah, that's the one I have on my shirt. Makes a nice shirt. Only thing you need is the iron on transfer paper for dark fabrics. Light colored transfers will not show the white.

Is the transfer like iron on material or is it a like a plastic type material? I used a iron-on transfer paper made for printers and printed the emblem onto it. You can get those at Wal-Mart where they sell the printing paper. It will only print the emblem, as that's where the ink is printed. Be warned, it's about $10 for about six sheets, so use them carefully. When you print it out onto the paper, let it dry completely before you iron it on. They are pretty durable as far as transfers go, as you can see in my pics juggling. I had washed the shirt about three times in the three weeks leading up to the event, four including the walkfest, and it still looks great. Only thing is, I have to lie the shirt flat after washing so I don't have to iron it (works well too).

Ms Boku, just thought you'd be interested to hear that today I changed my desktop after a long time of being a plain teal-ish blue. I used the logo you have, fixed the edges on the bottom of the [] parts, straightened out those bottom lines that come to the middle, and since my desktop is 800x600 I centered with the red surrounding it. I now have a new background thanks to you!

I'm not critising just something I noticed after the fact. I'm glad it worked out though.

Nono.. I mean the bottom part where the two wing shapes(?) meet together in the middle. The black lines bend /- -\ when from when I look at the logo they're straight all the way till they meet the middle \/ piece. Also not trying to criticize, it looks great especially when it's probably the best version atleast at the size scale anyone has outside of SJC or Anchor Bay giving a picture of just the logo itself for these purposes. It looks great on the desktop, I find myself just looking at it, admiring it. lol
