More famous numbers: NCC-1701 01 (General Lee) THX 1138 Knight Industries 2000 Jupiter 2 and B-9 (Lost in Space) Deep Space 9 C-57D (ship from Forbidden Planet--the first Star Trek movie before there even was a Star Trek) and on a personal note: CL-47, registry number of the light cruiser USS Boise that my grandfather served on in WWII. Any numbers have personal or special meaning for you?

But, some say "Doctor Who" should've stopped at the Sixth Doctor Era, but the Seventh had great eps, Eighth was a great actor stuck in a continuity overloaded TV movie, and Nine and Ten were/have been good.

How about a reference to GAH! Radio Station KMET 94.7 in Los Angeles, Ca! Not exactly USED in the show, other than the signs for the station popping up here and there on episodes.

As far as GAH goes... there's always "The Long Fall at 10, 2 and 4" !
As often as that unproduced script comes up around here, maybe it should be adapted into various fanfic (fanfics? Fanfi?) and see how well it can fit into the different versions.
New Story Challenge!
Anyhooo... kept leaving out some classic numbers: R2-D2 and C-3PO!
Air Force One
The Magnificent Seven
Voyager's "Seven of Nine" and "Species 8472"

"Beverly Hills 90210' (cringe) "Adam-12' "Space: 1999" "Galactica 1980" B-17 Bomber (one of the first talking Intellivision games - still remember the droning sound it made when it said the title "Beee Seveeenteeen Booooombeeeerr") Level 500 (Where you don't want to go)

Galactica 1980 was just released on DVD, believe it or not. The only reason I would buy it would be to get the episode "The Return of Starbuck." The rest can burn. I had B-17 Bomber! Game ruled! Favorite effect was the bullets slamming across the canopy window. Best Intellivision voice game behind "Space Spartans." (IMHO) Think Star Trek vs Tie Fighter. Speaking of Spartans... "300" WE ARE SPARTA!!!!! (I absolutely HATE hearing that phase now!) "One Tree Hill" (never saw it, never will) "Two and a Half Men" (one of my faves) Another GAH Reference: "Two on a Match"

We had "Space Spartans" too, but it was more fun to play when we lost the instruction book. Well, to my sister and brother anyway, since they kept managing to go the wrong direction, much like "Dungeons and Dragons." What I really remember about both was that you had to use a plug in attachment to use the voice box for Intellivision. It was big and clunky to my knowledge... and might be why I prefered to play Q-Bert, Lock 'n' Chase, Beauty and the Beast, and Burgertime (All I wish were on the Nintendo version of Intellivision they came out with on one of Intellivision's anniversaries.)

My family liked those old games so much we bought a used but working unit on eBay a few years back. Ours had died over a decade ago. I think during that entire time, our thumbs never stopped hurting. Left off some obvious numbers: Arthur C Clarke's 2001 2010 2063 3001 George Orwell's 1984 Stephen Spielberg's 1941

Sealab 2021 ...... FIGNUTS! And the original cartoon they used to create this series: "Sealab 2020," which was considered to be a very poor show and cancelled pretty quickly. One interesting fact of the original show - Ross Martin, who played Artemus Gordon in the TV series "The Wild Wild West," voiced the doctor in the original "Sealab" stories. ---------------------------------------- More Numbers: The Four Seasons Hotel. Dos Equis 2014 (the next time it's the year of the horse). 1776, 1836 - years of America's and Texas' independence from Mexico 20 and Tecumseh's curse (which may have been broken when Reagan survived the assassination attempt on him). But, the curse was that every president elected in the 20th year would die in office. That did happen up until Reagan's era.
