I was thinking about the post I made a while ago about all the things we would have probably had on the market if GAH had lisenced out its product. From time to time I might make 'samples' of what the those might have looked like. Today is gum cards. I still have to work on the backs, but here are two samples I came up with as a test.

Good idea, they should have thought about that when the show was still hot in the '80s.. they did so much advertising, they had also the ad on an icecream wrap (I saw it on ebay) but never heard of TGAH gum cards before or coasters. I am feeling a bit artistic too these days and created a first attempt of a boot screen for Windows XP, have a lookI hope they include a DVD rom part in Season 3 with a screensaver or some sort of desktop thingy.. that would be nice

Cool designs enovak. They remind me of the original "Power Rangers" trading cards they had when the series was starting. I remember my brother and sister collecting those cards as well as the "Pokemon" trading cards.
I am a bit confused as to what gum cards are, though. Are they like the baseball/trading card packs that include the cards as well as a piece of gum? Or are they stickers or something along those lines?

Well believe it or not - in the old days gum cards were just that. You payed like .25 or .10 for a stick of gum that happend to have like 5 or cards in them.
Now they are just cards - no more gum. In the 80's it was popular to add stupid word balloons to the pictures.

Great looking cards!!
Damn Time Warner and their lawsuit, would have been cool to have something like those.

Came up with a wrapper too. Not too happy with it, but I will try again.

Vending machines dispensed drinks with a winning sticker on them, and you had to return the sticker with the team you wanted, in my case, the Astros. They're funny to look at now, because at the time they were still wearing the "rainbow" jerseys, but at the same time cool because Biggio is on one of the cards.

If they did GAH gum cards now, you would have the chance of pulling an autograph, or swatch of the jammies!

If they did GAH gum cards now, you would have the chance of pulling an autograph, or swatch of the jammies! Yeah, I get a kick out of seeing some of the backs of the packages. (roughly) "Each pack contains either a sticker or puzzle card and 11 other cards. 1 in 4 contains a holograph card; 1 in 8 a changing card, and 1 in 12 contain an autographed card. Each pack guaranteed one of the three." But, then again, there haven't been many cards nowadays that I want to collect, so this is a bit more in fun.

Actually, that's pretty good, MrsMaxwell. They remind me of the Donruss cards out there. The only thing off center is the "Authentic piece of 'The Magic Jammies'" text.

Great cards. Trading cards would have been awesome. Maybe have that one impossible one to get and it could be of the greenguy or something. Only have a handful of those and maybe one or two autographed by the three leads.
