I had not seen it. Too bad the person got cheated. I would bid but I am WAY too tall to wear that.

I've got it marked to watch, just out of curiosity.
I don't know if y'all saw it, I didn't want to mention it in here cuz I'd had dreams of getting it myself, but there was a script for Beast in the Black that just sold recently, the director's copy. Since it was only days before I get my big moneys, I was dismayed I couldn't get it, so my sis told me she'd get it for me. I told her to go to 75.00, little realizing it'd go for over 200.00!!
Since then, of course, I've discovered sites I can buy the scripts on. Don't really NEED the director's copy, but one of "Lilacs..." or "Vanity..." would've put me over the moon (of course.) If either of THOSE come up, I don't care how much it goes to, it's MINE!

It was my first eBay experience, so I didn't even imagine it'd go that high. I thought for sure 75.00 would've done it. Silly me. My sis was waiting to bid, till the end, but by then I discovered where I could buy them, so I told her not to bother, so we never did bid on it.

I figure that once it gets up $50 in less than 2 minutes when I am watching...that this poor man will just have to wait and try to see it when someone here gets it and posts pictures.

Isn't this the same suit someone bought here a while back? I bookmarked the site here kolchak.com/tgah.htmlI've compared these pics to the one on ebay and they match. Same zipper sleeves and everything. Even has William Katt written on the inside label.

Well the suit you posted the link to is mine actually. That one I'm keeping. The one that just ended is actually a replica of that, although it's a mighty fine replica. You can see, though, that the material is new - no way it's over 20 yrs old. Mine is definitely 'old', to be sure, and there are other little things you can notice (stitching used in the middle of the emblem, etc.) to be able to tell it's an original from the show (later season 2 or possibly season 3) - things that do not match up with the replica that was just on eBay.
Also, just F.Y.I.: the replica just ended up selling for US $1,110.00. Not bad.

Oh I see. A friend down the street used to work on the show a long time ago and he knows a guy who has three costumes and the original book. He never saw this site before. He has lots of pictures from the set and maybe he'll let me post some sometime. I'll ask him.
